Welcome to my first post for the new 2022 year – a blog hop with Create with Connie and Mary!

Our theme this week features new stuff from the upcoming catalogs!

These cactus though! This is the Cactus Cuties Bundle, stamp set and punch.

Initially, I was going for a simple card and a stepped up card.

But, they ended up being about the same. Adorable!

The other version was the stamped off version of these images.

A few of the images can be punched using the coordinating punch, others I cut by hand.

I also added the Stitched With Whimsy Dies as a background. Rectangles as one, squares on the diagonal on the other.

Just cute as can be! Don’t you agree?

Our theme this week features a winter wonderland!

Winter, where are you? I’d like to say. Here in the lovely city of Houston, it has been at least 80+ everyday. 80. Winter, what’s that?

My winter wonderland looks a bit different for me than some of you. My card reflects that!

Snowflakes are winter, right?

This is one of those frameless shaker cards! Soo pretty when opened!

Wouldn’t you agree?

This combination of two different (sold out) paper packs works well too! The pink is from Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series paper, the gray sparkly snowflake is the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper.

Fun and festive from the outside with all the color and movement.

This die was the perfect size for a front focal point.

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree

Hello stampin’ friends!

I am sooo happy to be joining a Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features cards with trees!

I have lots of holiday goodies I haven’t had a chance to create with. By now, some are sold out and not on the Stampin up website, others are unavailable for the time being.

I decided to go with something as of Friday night, you could still order –

Isn’t this just simple adorable? I love it!

The gingerbread trees were fussy cut, cut by hand. The little circles were punched from the same Designer Series Paper, pattern paper.

I took the challenge literally with the ‘rockin’ around the Christmas tree’. I heard the song in my head – you did too – admit it! Hence the music notes.

This card is perfect for your friends who love music or maybe are music teachers. Notice the embossing folder details? This card would also be great for even bakers!

It is simply a happy card that’d make anyone – music lover, baker – just smile!

Our theme this week features cute Halloween cards!

I used the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper for this bootiful card –

For these cute little ghosts, I used the Whale Punch! I trimmed away the fin and tail – soo easy to modify! (The Halloween Punch is currently on backorder, so this idea is a great alternative!)

I used additional strips of pattern paper to strike up the cuteness around the sentiment from the Cutest Halloween stamp! The Gingham bow was also a nice touch!

Our theme this week features a fun shaped cards other than a rectangle.

This is a tricky one!

This is what I came up with –

BOO!

Isn’t this the sweetest!?!?!?

I used the Basic Border Dies for this sweet little ghost friend!

When I cut the curvy top and thee zig zag bottom, I used washi tape to keep them in place as I ran them through back and forth to cut through the folded card.

The eyes are from the Picture This Dies, one of the small circles –

He just turned out soo cute!

I look forward to creating more of these to send out this month! Perhaps in different sizes!

I stamped boo on the inside.

Since we are nearing the end of our fall Sale-a-bration, I decided to use a Sale-a-bration stamp set called, Textures & Frames –

I stamped a pumpkin with one of the shapes!!

I added a leaf from the Gift Giving Dies and a curled Linen Thread sprig!

This gorgeous, elegant sentiment is from the Heartfelt Wishes –

The Stamparatus made it easier to stamp this cling stamp set straight under the pumpkin.

I love the elegance and simplicity of this card, don’t you?

Our theme this week features saying goodbye to Sale-a-bration.

Well, this Sale-a-bration has just flown by! I got this Delicate Dahlias early on and haven’t inked it up much.

It is soo pretty! This is the gorgeous stamp set –

Beautiful, right!?!?

I stamped the inner of the two step stamps in Cajun Craze three times. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, embossing the whole panel using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

The Cajun Craze piece was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. It just softened the card. Nice for a sympathy card!

Last, the card needed something. I thought the Linen Thread was just the thing!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I haven’t played with the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Delicate Dahlias yet –

So I did today as these colors were perfect for this flower –

Right? Isn’t this just stunning?

I used the Stamparatus too stamp this two-step flower. First the border in Cinnamon Cider, then the inside of the flower in So Saffron, twice. It made such nice shading for this!

One of the patterns in the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper was a perfect accent to this card –

I thought these colors were nice for a sympathy card, although any of these sentiments in this set would have worked well for this card!

The Scalloped Contours Dies were perfect for all this to be placed on before the card base!

So what do you think? Pretty sweet, right?

How about this –

Yes, a candy jar! Because candy jars are found on table, lol! And, it’s a really cute card!

I punched Black Glitter Paper (yes, they brought it back this holiday season), card stock, and Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper using the Jar Punch. This is that cute paper –

Here is the Jar Punch –

I even punch lids separately! And, scored them to look as though the are real, lol!

This simply cute sentiment is from the Little Delights stamp set –

A perfect all around fall-time, or anytime, greeting set!

I almost forgot! I colored the candy in the jar with Stampin’ Blends! That was the icing on the cake for this card!

All this makes for a cute, sweet card!

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – In The Garden

Our theme this week features things from the garden on a card!

So, naturally my first thought was flowers, but I had something else in mind……

I know, I know. You’re going wha? Thats Halloween.

Here is how I connected these dots, lol. Pumpkins are grown in the garden. This just happens to be a smiling pumpkin lol!

It’s soo cute though, right?

I stamped three pumpkins from the Clever Cats stamp set in Memento Black onto Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, and Granny Apple Green.

I then used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to punch each one out. For the sentiment, I stamped the greeting and punched it using the same punch only to reinsert it to make it more narrow!

I layered these on strips of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper –

Initially this was a standard sized card. I felt there was too much white card base showing so I made it a mini slim card measuring 3 1/2″ x 6″. This was much better visually!

I can not wait to mail this card out closer to Halloween – it is sure to be a hit to whomever receives it!

What a tough choice – there are so many great new dies in this new mini catalog!

I went with these cuties –

The Gingerbread Dies – they are part of the whole Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite of products that is just over the top with cuteness!

You really can’t see this wonderful Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper in this picture, but several sheets have ‘cookies’ that you can use the die cuts to cut out!!!

It is just the sweetest!

I created two similar versions of these cards. Can you see the difference?

The Real Red and the Garden Green card stocks are embossed with the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder. The non-embossed version looks great too!

The other difference is the arrangement of the pattern paper.

Either card is really awesome and show off these great dies.

I had to think about this one, but this is what came to mind –

A turtle! They are always on the ground! Except for this one!

I had fun stamping this little guy then coloring with the Stampin’ Blends. I used one of the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut him out.

I thought the Bloom Where You Are Planted Designer Series Paper was a nice accent to add to this card. It is also on sale until the August 2nd!

I have a friend who had hand surgery recently, so this will be a great card for them!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features anything found in the sky!

I went with the first thing I thought of, clouds and the sun!

So sweet! So cheery!

I started with cutting all these clouds from the Give It A Whirl Dies.

I used the Stamparatus to get a nice, clean, crisp stamped sentiment from the Sunny Sentiments. I die cut it using one of the scalloped Layering Circles Dies.

I still felt the card needed some ‘grounding’. I added a cloud strip from the Basic Borders Dies. That was it!

It added just what was needed!

I can not wait to sent it out to brighten someone’s day!
