Our theme this week is cards for the guys! Great idea because we always seem to need masculine cards!

I pulled out some new Christmas paper, Shining Brightly, to create this ‘card for a guy’ –

I also used this great new multi-greeting stamp set, Throughout the Year. I sure wished I could show you that set! You will love all the sentiments in it.

I used the Tailor Made Tags as well to pull in all the colors!

I love how nothing about this card screams Christmas! Even though it is Christmas paper.

How could you not smile when you see this cute little Rhino?

This adorable stamp set can be found online! It is just as cute as can be!

I combined him with the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. These particular patterns work well looking safari-like!

If you look closely, I snipped the sides of his legs to go over the sentiment. Just a little detail that adds to the simple WOW of this card!

I sure hope it brought a smile to you today!

Spring is Here with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Our theme this week is Spring cards!

When I think of Spring in Texas, I think of Bluebonnets. Every year, I try to create a card with a cleaver way to stamp a Bluebonnet. This years card –

I chose to use one of the flower stamps in the Sending Smiles stamp set repeatedly in Pacific Point. I stamped it three times going up the flower overlapping as I went along.

I used the stamp for the leaves and greenery that grow with these beautiful wild flowers.

Notice this great layout? It is from Create With Connie and Mary Challenges.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut from the new Radiating Stitches Dies. These are found online and not in any publication.

I designed a playful pair –

These are just too cute! I love how the paper does all the work for me. Almost, everything is from the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper!

Even the detailed bunny! That’s my favorite. The shirt is embossed and shiny!

The sentiment would be the exception. It’s from the Easter Bunny stamp set. On the ends, I used the Happy Labels Pick a Punch.

I loved this card soo much – I decided to feature it on my monthly Card Buffet! I am sure it will be a hit!

Our theme this week is Ombre Cards.

I wanted to play with the new Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper, as lots of the patterns have an ombre look to them. These items are only available online, as they are online exclusive products.

The two panels, the flower, and the circle are all from the same pack of paper! I was thrilled that the 2″ Circle Punch has returned! I pulled it out and used it here!

These colors created a soft, feminine, lovely card!

Admittedly, I was stumped on this card and needed some direction. I looked up Freshly Made Sketches to help me out with the layout.

Pretty good choice, I’d say as this is a great layout!

Since I didn’t have any current stencils, I created my own from a repeated die cut shape from the Something Fancy Dies. Since it is a small stencil, Sponge Daubers are the plan!

Plaid Tidings with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Our theme this week features plaids!

I created a grouping of Easter cards –

This plaid pattern from the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper was perfect for this theme!

And, yes, I did it again. Another card grouping, this time using my 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder.

Aren’t these the cutest cards?

They all use the same components starting with the Easter Bunny Punch.

This easter sentiment is from Celebrating You. It has lots of great sentiments for all occasions. The Double Oval Punch fits it wonderfully!

The Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon to the side is nice because as it covers the feet on the bunny and coordinates with the grey from the sentiment.

The strip of Basic White on each card is embossed with a new embossing folder that will be available March 1 online only.

I have a silly, non-traditional Valentine to share today –

I needed a bunch, no pun intended, of cards to send out to my friends. So I found another one of these stack, cut, shuffle ideas. It is soo cute with these Sale-a-bration supplies!

Here, I used the Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper as my base and added another Sale-a-bration goody, Thanks A Bunch stamp set.

I hadn’t used this Jar Punch in forever! Perfect time to dust it off for this card. These carrot hearts are just the cutest!

Favorite New J-A Designer Series Paper with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Out theme this week our favorite Designer Series Paper from the new January to April mini catalog.

Yes, there are soo many great papers in the new little book. But, hands down, I love this versatility of the hostess pack, Flowers & More. It is 48 sheets of 12″ x12″ paper joy! Lol!

I gravitated towards the reds and pinks –

Bright. Bold. Beautiful.

The sentiment is from the Framed Florets. I decided to die cut around it using the new Something Fancy Dies. I think these are a must have for all the wonderful tag-like shapes to use with a variety of stamp sets.

The addition of the tulip and leaves die in the top of the tag sent it over the top!

Favorite New Stamp Set with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Since we just got a new catalog at the beginning of the month, our theme this week is favorite stamp set.

It was really hard to narrow it down, but, I am so drawn to the Marigold Moments Bundle!

Look how stunning –

I did tweak the design a bit creating an elegant vase of flowers instead of the traditional flowers and stems. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the flower bunch.

The vase? It is from the Share A Milkshake Dies! Pretty clever I’d say!

The background really sets this card off. You won’t regret purchasing the Organic Beauty Dies just for this die. I’ve used it soo much.

It is the last one, Dandy Designs that is probably a favorite of mine! I paired it with my favorite new stamp set too –

The Lucky Clover bundle is new and fresh! And, not all the words are for St. Patrick’s Day either.

The card really speaks for itself.

This is a great go-to layout for me. I let the pattern paper do all the work!

I debated about adding more clovers, this was just enough! The touch of the bow in gold from the elegant trim was just enough!

This Designer Series Paper is free with a $100 USD, which may see like a lot, however, this paper has 48 12″ x 12″ sheets. You get a huge pack of paper! Huge!

This owl pairs with the Alphabet A La Mode Dies well to spell L O V E on this sweet Valentine card.

Of course, we have to bring in the new year year, crafty card style!

This card features several popular items from the soon-to-retire July to December Mini Catalog. The stamped image is from the Handmade Wishes stamp set. Luckily, the Handmade Tag Punch iss a carryover item!

The background uses the sold out Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper. Such a great paper!

The ribbon Gold 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon was perfect to add behind the sentiment. Both that, and the Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins tie in the embossed gold on the paper.

Pretty modern design using the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper again. This time, what makes it modern is the addition of the sentiment using the new Alphabet a la Mode Dies in the Glimmer Specialty Paper.

The addition of the big, bold, red bow was nice too!

Our theme today is : All That Glistens

I had soo much fun creating this –

I created a wreath using the Decorated Pine Dies. Initially, I used two of the main branches to create the partial circle. After adding the ornaments, I felt it needed a few more. I die cut some of the smaller leaves and stuck them where they were needed.

These ornaments are simply gorgeous wouldn’t you say? They are nice, bold, and shiny! Making them all silver made them pop!

I stamped a simple greeting from the coordinating Decorated with Happiness stamp set.
