Hello my Sunday friends!

Feelin’ the love this month and I’m sharing a card today, yes, on a Sunday!

I am playing with a few kits today creating Valentine cards for upcoming events.

Here, I combined the January 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Hearts For You, with the Saying Thanks Kit from the Kits Collection, to create this –

Isn’t this simply lovely? I just ❤️ this card!

To create it, I used the card base and a brushed gold heart from the January 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit, Hearts For You –

And the multiple heart overlay is from the Saying Thanks Kit, see below.

After going through different sentiments, I decided to just use die cut letters from the Mini Alphabet Dies for a simply stated sentiment.

Very nice, right?

I just love it! To make the heart opening on the front, I used the Hooray for Surprises Dies. After I made the cut, I assembled the card and stamped the sentiment through the heart as there is plenty of room to do so!

I trimmed the Designer Series Paper and the leftover strip, I placed on the inside of the card.

The heart that was left from the front, I used as an envelope seal! How cool is that? Either side would work nicely and can be seen from open or closed!

The Flirty Flamingo double bow on the front ties in the colors. This card would be suitable for the guys in your life too! Wouldn’t you agree?

I hadn’t used this Jar Punch in forever! Perfect time to dust it off for this card. These carrot hearts are just the cutest!

Isn’t this cool? I used the January 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit, Key To My Heart. I deconstructed one of the card bases to create this card.

For the purple strip, I stamped the greeting, To My Valentine, repeatedly down the side.

Happy Monday!

How about some inspiration for some Valentine projects today?

I created a simple card using the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper –

The sentiment is from the Sweet Conversations stamp set.

Tie Dyed Love

It’s a few days of Valentine card shares this week! Guess you could say it’s my theme!

I created these wonderful hearts from a new set, Tie Dyed!

I inked the photopolymer stamp in Real Red and stamped it three times going down. Didn’t line it up, just eye balled it! Repeated that three times. Easy, peasy!!!!

As a finishing touch, I stamped the word ‘love’ from the Watercolor Words set. The style matched perfectly!

After a few dimensionals, this card is done! It literally took me longer to blog about it than to create it!

I hope I have inspired you with my card. You should see what the other design team members created too! The Watercooler Wednesday artists are quite talented!

Sending a Kiss

Need a fat free, no calorie kiss for Valentine’s Day?

Then, this card just might be the one for you. I love how this design is so clean and simple. It could also work for a manly card too. It was one of the choices at my January Card Buffet. And, a popular one I might add!

Very quick to make multiples of too! The cool thing about this card is the ‘kiss’, which is made from the Blossom Petals Builder Punch!

Happy Valentines’s Day

I know, I know, it’s Tuesday. Where is the tip? My tip for you is this – all those cards you have recently (or not so recently) made? Pull one out and MAIL IT!

I created a really sweet card the other day. I actually photographed it BEFORE it went into the mail AND shared it with you. See, take a look-see –

Isn’t the outside just sweet?

Ok. Now see the inside? Even sweeter?

I love banners. I love cards. So, this was a perfect combination of the 2. I think the recipient loved it just as much. Wink, wink. Well, I hope so anyway. It is always fun to receive S N A I L  M A I L these days.

Supplies. No stamp set or ink pads were used in the making of this card. Very Vanilla Card Stock. Chocolate Chip Card Stock. Everyday Enchantment DSP (FREE with Sale-A-Bration!!). Petite Pennants Builder Punch. Small Heart Punch. Early Espresso/White Bakers Twine.

When opened, it will only open a slight amount to allow for the banner to hang. I think this is really, really stink in’ cute. Our twine is perfect for banner cards!

Mini Kiss Slider

Ok, Ok, I know I haven’t been posting on a regular basis – makes me sad too.

Let’s just say, computer issues…..

So, would a kiss make it better? A mini kiss, so to speak?

At my last class, I had a request to show how to make a reusable slider Treat Cup card. I used the Heart Treat Cup, of course, and some new ribbon from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Here is a close up showing the chocolate chip ‘kisses’ in the heart –

Everyone was thrilled with this card. And, it was not so difficult to make, was it?

So, I am really getting into these various card challenges. And, it seems as though they are everywhere on the inter-web.

Now, The orientation of this design gives it that interesting twist. This could have easily been turned vertically. And, then there would have been no challenge here, at least not for me.
