Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a slimline card using this layout –

Simline cards are such fun!

I created a sweet card with cats, of course, in this mini slim design. This card is 7 x 6, scored at 3 1/2.

I fussy cut three, playful grey cats from the pattern paper. Placing them on three square from the In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment I chose is from a new set coming out in November, Notes of Collage.

Did you guess the cats are from the Halloween Designer Paper, Frightfully Fun?

Check out the other Design Team’s use of these colors this week on our Create with Stamping Friends blog. You’ll see some fabulous ideas! Join us for the challenge too if you’d like!

Spotlight on Vellum

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with vellum!

Vellum doesn’t have to scary, or does it?

I went with a spooky Halloween card since it is October and halloween is just around the corner!

I started with cutting a scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Christmas Dies in Vellum, then I decided what pattern paper to use with it.

I liked how this web pattern from the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper fit the inside nicely.

Of course, it needed a spider for the web. That came from the Web of Fun Dies. I curled his legs, adding a double stack of Black Dimensionals for big added height.

The sentiment is a well used one for me from the Oh My Fright Dies.

The addition of the silver sequins really made the card pop! It was just what the card needed!

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Next up is Melissa Davies, back is Cindy Elam. Keep going to see all of us.

See you next week with more great inspirations!

Deck The Halls

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card with these colors –

Definitely Christmas color feels!

I started with covering a Cherry Cobbler card base in the holly pattern from the A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper.

I was curious what the large scallop border from the Home For Christmas Dies would look like as the bottom of the card.

I’m going to say, it looks pretty cute! I did have to run it a few times back and forth to make a complete cut through all three layers.

Of course I added some holly die cuts!

The tags seemed appropriate to break up the pattern in the paper.

I added the sentiment and some bows and the card was finished!

Pretty sweet holiday card I’d say! What do you think?

Flowers For Fall

September 26, 2026 · 2 Comments

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with fall flowers.

I created a Flowers For Fall Fun Fold –

Of course I used the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper for this card! It is too gorgeous not too! I had the flowers do the work for me!

As the card opens –

And fully opened –

This card is one of those Z Folds with an extended panel. I wanted to show off as much as the paper as I could here. I cut a continuous strip first, then made cuts to create the continuous look for each of the segments. Easy. And, a great way to use up pattern paper. Yes, I said it – USE YOUR PATTERN PAPER!

This is a simple, recreatable card. As such, I added simple embellishments : a bow and some Antique Pearls to mimic the colors in the pattern paper.

This is one of my cards for my September Class To-Go. It is a great one for sure! Check out my Facebook page for more details.

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the fall flower theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Sending Christmas Cheer

September 24, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card using this layout –

What a simply fun layout!

I started with the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies and cut a card base out of Basic White. I put the folded card base just slightly below the scallops to retain the fold.

I then cut another single, full rectangle out of the Timeless Christmas Cheer Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the base.

I stamped two cute gingerbreads and die cut those. I placed them on 2 squares cut from the same Designer Series Paper like the sketch called for.

I added a sentiment and these sweet little Real Red & White Adhesive Backed Peppermints. I am soo glad we still have these!

Simple. Easy. Cute.

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with the fall feels!

When I think of fall, I think of pumpkins!

These pumpkins are from the Painted Patch Designer Series Paper! I die cut the ones that had these colors in them to coordinate with these two pattern papers.

To help create a nice focal point, I used the Scallop Cheer Dies to cut out this lovely shape for the pumpkins. I paid particular attention to where the dies would cut to get this darker color in the boarder.

I used this great mini sentiment from the Soiree Salutations as to not compete with the pumpkins. it is made to fit with the Three Banner Punch perfectly!

The Painted Patch Dots add a little color.

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card with these colors –

Yup, I went with a cat. And, Halloween.

I have been itching to use these dies for something other than Christmas! Today it was Halloween and a cat!

I cut shapes from the dies and pieced together the cat quilt style!

I placed the kitty on one of the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies to mimic a quilt.

For the sentiment, I got creative and cut letter to change the Halloween to MeowOween.

Just as cute and clever as can be!

Leaves or Trees

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with leaves, trees, or both!

I went with leaves!

These gorgeous leaves are from the Elegant Leaves Bundle. I stamped the outlines in Cajun Craze and then stamped the inside in Crisp Cantaloupe.

I really like the layout of the leaves. To elevate it, I die cut the leaves. I adhered the Very Vanilla on a placed a piece Cajun Craze. I add the leaved back, but on dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment and added some layering behind it.

I couldn’t decide what color to make as my card base. I decided that Petal Pink would be a nice compliment to the stamped leaves.

Do you think I make the right call?

Happy Thanksgiving

September 10, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card using this layout –

Is it too early to create a Thanksgiving card?

I think not, lol!

I fell in love with this Thanks & Giving stamp set and have been looking for a reason to use it. This sketch was it!

I used the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper for the paper piecing of the cute little acorn top and bottom. I stamped them on both patterns, then cut them by hand.

This great square is a die cut from the Time Garden Dies, a must have in my opinion for just how versatile they are.

The ribbon sentiment was also cut by hand.

Now the larger Old Olive piece are from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper. This added a little whimsy to go along with the cuteness of the stamp set.

This card is soo sweet. I cannot wait to send it later in the year.

Favorite New Sept-Dec Catalog / Sept OE Designer Series Paper

September 5, 2026 · 1 Comment

Welcome stampers!

I have something very special to share today! It is my 19th Stamp-aversary! That’s right, 19 years ago, I was drawn to a complete set of an ink pad family for my bonus to the Starter Kit! So, Happy 19th Stamp-aversary to me!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with our favorite new Designer Series Paper from the September – December Catalog or the Online Exclusives that just dropped.

Honestly, there are some really great holiday pattern papers in this catalog. I had a difficult time to pick one, so i just did.

My card shows off the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match 6 x 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper. There are the four patterns in the pack shown on my card, plus a strip from one of the printed sides. The other sides are tags and other images for cards or tags. In addition, there are 4 sheets of punch outs, like the ephemera packs.

The sentiment on my card is one I created with the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies and die cut letters from the Luxe Alphabet & Number Hot Foil Dies. Once again, I used just the dies to cut letters. I haven’t hot foiled those yet.

I added three Gold Adhesive Baked Dots for a little something for the card.

The card is easy to replicate in cutting and assembly.

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Grateful For You

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card with these colors –

Oh these colors threw me for a creatively wonderful loop! Just look how I used them –

I started with new items! These little mini leaves are from the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies. Most of the hot foil dies have components that you can use without hot foiling them. I chose three leaves and cut them in the three different challenge colors.

I initially was arranging the leaves on the Very Vanilla base but remembered this new Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies. They looked wonderful on there, so that’s what I went with.

The card needed a little color, as it was soo much vellum. I added a piece of the In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper in Crisp Cantaloupe to break up all the Very Vanilla.

I wanted a small sentiment to not take away from all the leaves, so one from the Soiree Salutations was the perfect size!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with our favorite new September -December, SD, Catalog or September Online Exclusive, OE, Bundle.

I like soo many of the bundles in the upcoming catalog. I chose to show off the Radiant Sunflowers –

I used one of my go-to layouts along with a couple of the beautiful pattern papers from the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper for this pretty card.

Instead of using ribbon, used this Radiant Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper as an accent strip.

I love the stitched rectangle die in the bundle. It fits all the sentiments in the stamp set! I chose my favorite one. You can never go wrong with a simple card for a friend.

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card with this layout –

I got a little frightfully creative this week –

The pun and paper is from the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper. I took two of the same patterns and cut through them and put them back together for this card.

The dies come with one ghost. I wanted one facing the other way. After die cutting it, I flipped it over, placed a piece of paper on top and ran it back through me die cut machine to remove the edge. Worked like a charm!

The eyes are black dimensionals! Also, another great tip!

Back To School Days

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards for back to school!

This theme had me a little stumped until I started playing around with different things. I started with just the alphabet from the Lux Alphabet & Numbers Hot Foil Dies in various colors.

Then I remembered seeing a sheet of notebook paper in one of my packs of paper, Homemade Sweetness. Things started to flow!

I pulled out the Last Chance, Currently Loving stamp set to stamp the reading, learning, playing on the ‘notebook’ paper.

I arranged the numbers and letters around the stamp words.

I also added ENJOY YOUR DAY from Balloon Festoon, above the list. It went perfectly with list of things to do.

This would be a great card for an elementary student or maybe even a teacher!

For that ‘extra’ on the card, I added a staple in the top left. It’s always those details!

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge is to create a card using this layout –

A rather fun, wonky layout! Here is my take on the sketch –

I wanted something that looked sweet, but was also a little on the humorous side. Just look at this expression on the cats face! Priceless for one of those, um, birthdays of a certain age.

The cat came from the Halloween set, Oh, My Fright. It’s just perfect for a non Halloween, scary aged birthday.

The sweet pattern paper is the Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper. Colors are just great!

Combined with the cat, this Thanks Man stamp set just makes the card!

Checkout how I finished off the card on the inside! I mimicked the outside wonky angle! Plus added the rest of the thoughtful words, lol!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are CASEing ourselves and creating cards!

I wanted to share a Halloween card so I went waaaay back to 2021 to this –

I loved the layout of this card. I used our current Frightly Fun Designer Series Paper, plus the coordinating bundle to create this similar card –

I mixed die cut images with a hand cut kitty. It was just too cute not to add it!

To create the eyes on such small die cut pieces, I used the two different colored dimensionals to help me out!

I am really pleased how this turned out! What do you think?
