Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies

Spotlight on Vellum

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with vellum!

Vellum doesn’t have to scary, or does it?

I went with a spooky Halloween card since it is October and halloween is just around the corner!

I started with cutting a scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Christmas Dies in Vellum, then I decided what pattern paper to use with it.

I liked how this web pattern from the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper fit the inside nicely.

Of course, it needed a spider for the web. That came from the Web of Fun Dies. I curled his legs, adding a double stack of Black Dimensionals for big added height.

The sentiment is a well used one for me from the Oh My Fright Dies.

The addition of the silver sequins really made the card pop! It was just what the card needed!

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Next up is Melissa Davies, back is Cindy Elam. Keep going to see all of us.

See you next week with more great inspirations!

Sending Christmas Cheer

September 24, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card using this layout –

What a simply fun layout!

I started with the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies and cut a card base out of Basic White. I put the folded card base just slightly below the scallops to retain the fold.

I then cut another single, full rectangle out of the Timeless Christmas Cheer Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the base.

I stamped two cute gingerbreads and die cut those. I placed them on 2 squares cut from the same Designer Series Paper like the sketch called for.

I added a sentiment and these sweet little Real Red & White Adhesive Backed Peppermints. I am soo glad we still have these!

Simple. Easy. Cute.

Happy Fall Y’All

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with the fall feels!

When I think of fall, I think of pumpkins!

These pumpkins are from the Painted Patch Designer Series Paper! I die cut the ones that had these colors in them to coordinate with these two pattern papers.

To help create a nice focal point, I used the Scallop Cheer Dies to cut out this lovely shape for the pumpkins. I paid particular attention to where the dies would cut to get this darker color in the boarder.

I used this great mini sentiment from the Soiree Salutations as to not compete with the pumpkins. it is made to fit with the Three Banner Punch perfectly!

The Painted Patch Dots add a little color.

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Happy MeowOween

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card with these colors –

Yup, I went with a cat. And, Halloween.

I have been itching to use these dies for something other than Christmas! Today it was Halloween and a cat!

I cut shapes from the dies and pieced together the cat quilt style!

I placed the kitty on one of the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies to mimic a quilt.

For the sentiment, I got creative and cut letter to change the Halloween to MeowOween.

Just as cute and clever as can be!

Favorite New Sept-Dec Catalog / Sept OE Designer Series Paper

September 5, 2026 · 1 Comment

Welcome stampers!

I have something very special to share today! It is my 19th Stamp-aversary! That’s right, 19 years ago, I was drawn to a complete set of an ink pad family for my bonus to the Starter Kit! So, Happy 19th Stamp-aversary to me!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Weekly, we share various themes to inspire your creativity. This week, we are creating cards with our favorite new Designer Series Paper from the September – December Catalog or the Online Exclusives that just dropped.

Honestly, there are some really great holiday pattern papers in this catalog. I had a difficult time to pick one, so i just did.

My card shows off the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match 6 x 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper. There are the four patterns in the pack shown on my card, plus a strip from one of the printed sides. The other sides are tags and other images for cards or tags. In addition, there are 4 sheets of punch outs, like the ephemera packs.

The sentiment on my card is one I created with the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies and die cut letters from the Luxe Alphabet & Number Hot Foil Dies. Once again, I used just the dies to cut letters. I haven’t hot foiled those yet.

I added three Gold Adhesive Baked Dots for a little something for the card.

The card is easy to replicate in cutting and assembly.

Be sure to go around and check us all out to see how we used the theme this week! We also love to read comments too. Take a few minutes to say HI, or why you liked our project for the week.

Grateful For You

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

This week, our challenge for you is to create a card with these colors –

Oh these colors threw me for a creatively wonderful loop! Just look how I used them –

I started with new items! These little mini leaves are from the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies. Most of the hot foil dies have components that you can use without hot foiling them. I chose three leaves and cut them in the three different challenge colors.

I initially was arranging the leaves on the Very Vanilla base but remembered this new Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies. They looked wonderful on there, so that’s what I went with.

The card needed a little color, as it was soo much vellum. I added a piece of the In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper in Crisp Cantaloupe to break up all the Very Vanilla.

I wanted a small sentiment to not take away from all the leaves, so one from the Soiree Salutations was the perfect size!

Check out the other Design Team’s use of these colors this week on our Create with Stamping Friends blog. You’ll see some fabulous ideas! Join us for the challenge too if you’d like!
