Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features our favorite Sale-a-bration stamp set.
I’d have to say, mine is the Friendly Hello. Over a few days, I createed these –
Why a collection of cards? Because I tried the technique where you stamp a Basic White sheet of card stock and make a bunch of cards, ‘Sheetload of Cards’. Here was my ‘stamped sheet’. Colors used are listed below.
I started by cutting into this for 4 cards. It quickly grew!
Probably the simplest card. Just backed the panel on Flirty Flamingo.
Also simple but I added a bow and popped it up on Dimensionals.
I started to get fancy here as I embossed the panel using the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.
Pretty much the same idea here, just with Poppy Parade.
I added more color with the card stocks to this version.
This one got the additions of the scalloped panel behind the stamping. Just soo pretty!
Such a nice collection of cards! What is your favorite?
Check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam to see what their favorite Sale-a-bration stamps sets are. I know they’ll have some great ideas for us!

Great technique. Gorgeous cards.
Aw, thank you so kindly Kathy!
Love this “sheet load” technique. What was your cutting guide to get the 5 cards?
Thank you Kimberly! I will be honest, I started with cutting the sheet into four, then I cut a few in half because I liked the way the stamping looked.
The color combination on these cards is beautiful! I believe the card with the flowers just at the top is my favorite – the flowers against the soft sea foam is striking.
You are too kind Lauri! Thank you!
Love, love, love How you made the background and used it to create all these beautiful cards.
Thank you so kindly Brenda! This was a lot of fun to create!
What did you use to add the color to the middle of the flowers?
It looks like a stamp that actually goes with the flower but that isn’t in the stamp set.
Really like how these look.
Thank you for stopping by today Laurie!
Beautiful cards! May I ask what stamp you used to fill in the flowers? Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Amy! I used Stampin’ Blends for the flowers.
