I was soo happy when this Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper came back. I was a favorite of mine.

This Christmas To Remember stamp set, as well as the Seasonal Labels are in the annual Stampin Up catalog. Both great staples. I especially love this sentiment!

This ribbon makes the perfect match for this card! Tying everything together – literally!

I cannot wait to make up a bunch of these for friends for the holiday season!

Happy July 1st!

July is a great month! Besides my birthday month, a new July – December Mini catalog has come out and it is Sale-a-bration time again! And, did I mention time to hop around with these awesome crafters!

Our theme is of course, the new catalog, and Sale-a-bration! Perfect for a card set –

I went with a non-traditional Christmas card using the sentiment from the Ringed With Nature stamp set.

This reversible pattern paper is called Rings of Love. It is a free gift with a qualifying order.

For all the cards, I used one of my 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder Templates.

Sort of hard to tell I cut up the paper because it blends so nice with the Blushing Bride background!

I love how the one side is a great floral, the other a pretty plaid! Which side it your favorite?

I am torn, I think I like them all!

I am anxious to see what the others have in store for us today! Aren’t you?

Blogging Friends June 2022 Blog Hop – Step It Up

Happy Friday my stampin’ friends!

It’s been a while since I got together with this talented group of stampers. We’d like to inspire you with some great ideas today!

Our theme this month is one card, three way, showing different crafting styles!

Here are my three cards –

I used the Best Butterflies Bundle and the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. I used the same layout for each card, but adding a little something each time to ‘step it up’.

This first card is for the ‘beginning crafter’. It is a great card, simple in design with minimal dimension. Actually, totally my style of a card.

‘Casual crafter’ for this one. I added the Fresh Freesia card base, popped up the Basic White layer and sentiment. Love this style as well.

‘Avid crafter’ for this stepped up beauty! I added a bit more dimension here, the Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon, and the 2022-2024 Matte Decorative Dots. Just gorgeous adding these other items!

I decided to go bold –

I stamped the flowers using the Stamparatus to get a nice clean, evenly stamped image. I die cut and colored around the image to make it standout against the black and white.

These awesome black and white patterns are from the All Together Designer Series Paper. It was a nice contrast to the bright pink.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Summer WOW Cards

Happy Friday!

Today, I am combining my Fun Fold Friday with this blog hop!

I decided to give a go at the Pinwheel Tower card or the Tower Pinwheel card, lol, ths card –

Here are some pictures of this 4-sided wonder –

All the stamping is from the Party Puffins!

….and, yes, I fussy cut each one!

I have seen several measurements for this card, but I created my own to fit into a regular A2 envelope!

My ‘base’ is 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″, scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″, and 3 1/2″. You will fold this up like a box with an extra flap ., Cut 3 more flaps at 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″.

I used tear & Tape to adhere the whole thing to keep it together.

The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper was adhered using regular adhesive.

I thought the Scallop Contours Dies made a nice background for the puffins. This is just too cute!

This Pattern Party Designer Series Paper is a host only item, it has been my favorite! And, I guess these Party Puffins have been too as I’ve used them a lot.

I’d like to share these cards I made for my Zoom Open House attendees –

I used my favorite stamp set, Biggest Wish –

It is photopolymer so it makes to stamp!

I also added a strip of Hostesses Designer Series Paper, Pattern Party, also a favorite of mine!

It is 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper heaven! Notice the the black and white patterns on one side?

A thin strip goes along way!

As you can see, one has the added rhinestones. I just couldn’t decide, with or without them.

It’s the first Friday of the month and that means a hop around with these talented Stampin’ Up crafters!

So excited! Our theme this month is anything goes . We have a new catalog that just came out so we can show off whatever! You can see the new catalog stuff here, or click the catalog –

When I saw the new catalog, the first bundle I fell for was All Squared Away.

My creation started with this –

A sweet little acetate box using the 2021-2023 In Colors. The sentiment is stamped with Evening Evergreen. The Evening Evergreen border is from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Now, what is inside the box??

3″ x 3 cards using the Floral Squares Dies! These are soo sweet! Especially with the coordinating envelopes.

How about a Friday blog hop?

Our theme this time around it spring fever!

I am having fever with all the wonderful products retiring, lol! I know all good things must come to an end…so I’ll spend this month playing with great stuff before new great stuff comes out!

For example, how about this beautiful card –

Look at the close up of the vellum die cut trim on the left –

I used this gorgeous, To A Wild Rose* stamp set? Pssst, it’s on sale for $23.40!

I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody, finishing off the center with Black Memento ink.

The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green. Such pretty variation in the coloring with the way this stamp stamps.

I also used the coordinating Wild Rose Dies*. Those are a remarkable $8.50, from $34.00!! I think you ‘need’ these!

So pretty! Wouldn’t you agree?

Adding these little spring flowers from the Dandy Wishes Dies –

I layered the flower petals in Petal Pink, standing each round of petals up. Such easy, sweet flowers!

The sentiment is from Enjoy The Moment punched using the Double Oval Punch.

I like using products for a variety of occasions such as this, Valentine, then Easter.

The Many Hearts Dies cut the two hearts, as well as the nifty XOXO at the top and bottom!

The center of the heart is the Love You Always Designer Series Paper. Here are the other three colors in the pack –

Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, and Sahara Sand. All so pretty with the foil accents! Pictures do not do it justice at all!

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – January 2021 – Sale-a-Bration Times C’mon

Happy January 1, 2021! Let’s start this year off with a ~~bang~~ blog hop! Or maybe two hops!!

Our theme is Sale-a-bration!

Sale-a-what? Every year during the first part of the year, Stampin’ Up! hosts a bonus promotion. For every $50 (USD) you spend, you get to pick a free specially designed item of stamp sets or Designer Series Papers!

This year, the special promotion will run twice this year for two months each, January & February and July & August. That means you have just a limited time to get these items! Our hop will introduce you to some of the products!

I was soo drawn to this Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper and Berry Blessings stamp set. I created two cards using a nifty fold –

Why is this nifty? Well two flaps open –

Cards are flipped, lol! But, you get the idea!

Each card has a base of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Layered with the folding card that is 4″ x 11″, scored at 3″ and 8 1/4″. I added Designer Series Paper to the outer panels and one card I stepped it up a bit adding a coveted piece of Whisper White on the inside. It is 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy with the berries (outside and inside) stamped in Pacific Point stamped off a time or two.

For both cards I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to frame the sentiment.

On both these cards I used a clear hook & loop dot to secure them closed.

Of course I stamped the whole panel and for whatever reason the Rich Razzleberry ink was not all the way dry and I smudged it a bit. Grrrrrrr, but I just kept it. Shows it is handmade, right?

I stamped the berries in Rich Razzleberry and colored with various blend to get the shading. I added the stamped leaves in Garden Green on this stepped up card.

As a bonus, the purple bow added just the right touch! Not sure where it came from, it was in my bow stash box! Lol!

These cards will be the beginning of my Fun Fold Fridays! A nice way to start the new year creating with new fold challenges for myself to share with you!

Our theme this month features Christmas Past.

I’ll interpret this to be something favorite of Christmas’ past. For me, that would be homemade ornaments.

I used to cross stitch all sort for the kids and their teachers. Mainly, stitching their names the way they wrote them at the time. Priceless looking back at them!

Today, I papercraft. So I made some paper crafted ornaments –

I used the Mason Jar Shaker Domes for these. I added a sweet little velvet house from the Home Together Dies. The plaid backer is from the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

These were lots of fun to create. Simple too! Once I figured out how to make these, the other 2 came together in a snap! I’ll surely be making more!

Hello! Happy Friday!

How about a hop to finish the week out?

Our theme this month is anything but a card.

Perfect timing! Every year I create a gratitude journal for my fall classes. Since this year is different with virtual classes, I created an adorable box of goodies from the Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes –

And, inside is this years journal –

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment omitting the ‘you’ in the sentiment. Just another idea of why the Stamparatus is so worthy to be in your craft stash!

Also in the box are four coordinating cards –

Each uses part of the same piece of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper! And, actually I only used 1 sheet for the entire project! That is 6 items created from one 6″ x 6″ piece of pattern paper!! Wow!

I added both the leaves and die cut circles in Cajun Craze, as well as the Copper Foil ‘heart’ leaves to the projects. Added just a touch of elegance.

This turned into a lovely gift set to create! I think this will be a popular class this year! Wouldn’t you agree?

I hope today finds you well and in good health!

Time to start spreading some Halloween cheer with a blog hop –

I decide to create a a nifty fun fold Halloween card –

I used the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper. I liked the look of the cobwebbing in the pattern!

To accentuate the spider web paper, I added a Black Glitter spider from the Little Treat Boxes. I also added one on the inside of the card too!

For the sides, I used the Halloween Magic Dies. I added the Blends colored Rhinestones Basic Jewels for some added color too!

Just a great card and fold!

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Back to School Bash

Happy Friday! Welcome to our monthly blog hop!

Note the different header? Pretty nice I’d say!!

Our theme this month is Back to School, scheduled long ago. Not sure how things are where you are from, but here, going back to classes in a classroom is pretty daunting with the Covid-19 cases still on the rise. Most school districts here are doing virtual classes for the time being.

So, what to create for a Back to School theme??

I decided to pull out the Harvest Hellos stamp set and the coordinating Apple Builder Punch for this –

I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set and used the Classic Label to punch each word out, it is a stacked sentiment.

I thought the colors looked nice against the Balmy Blue card stock. For texture, I used one of the new Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders.

I think it turned out perfect. Great for a student or a teacher going back to school!

Blogging Friends Blog Hop Sale-a-Bration

Happy Friday!

I have two wonderful Sale-a-Bration themed cards I designed for our monthly blog hop!

I had a hard time deciding just what to get for my Sale-a-Bration choices recently. I’m sharing two of my favorites –

One, is the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper. This particular pattern is white with diagonal gold foil dotted lines. I cut it into small strips and used my Light and dark Blends to color each piece creating candles!

Pretty clever, huh? Any guesses as to what the ‘flames’ are? (It is listed in the supply list below.)

I placed them on one of my favorite die sets, Stitched So Sweetly. I use them all the time.

Behind, is an embossed piece in Eyelet Lace. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set.

It is a beautifully stunning card suitable for anyone of any age too!

My second favorite from the Sale-a-Bration offerings this year is this Kerchief Card Kit.

Normally, I would use bits and pieces of the kit and create my own design. Well, here I used the kit pretty much to the way it was supposed to be created.

The exception is the this dotted background behind the sentiment. It is actually the inside of the included coordinating envelopes!

Other than that addition and making it landscape (instead of portrait), it is good just like it is!

So, so far, two of my favorites from the offerings this year!

Our theme this month we are CASEing another card using Sale-a-bration products –

My CASE for this is quite ribbiting –

I used three different Sale-a-Bration items to create this card.

Both of the black and white pattern papers are from the Botanical Butterfly. The frogs are from So Hoppy Together (fussy cut of course!) and the sentiment stamp set is Hello Cupcake.

All put together with some punches! I think this turned out fabulous!
