I have two wonderful Sale-a-Bration themed cards I designed for our monthly blog hop!
I had a hard time deciding just what to get for my Sale-a-Bration choices recently. I’m sharing two of my favorites –
One, is the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper. This particular pattern is white with diagonal gold foil dotted lines. I cut it into small strips and used my Light and dark Blends to color each piece creating candles!
Pretty clever, huh? Any guesses as to what the ‘flames’ are? (It is listed in the supply list below.)
I placed them on one of my favorite die sets, Stitched So Sweetly. I use them all the time.
Behind, is an embossed piece in Eyelet Lace. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set.
It is a beautifully stunning card suitable for anyone of any age too!
My second favorite from the Sale-a-Bration offerings this year is this Kerchief Card Kit.
Normally, I would use bits and pieces of the kit and create my own design. Well, here I used the kit pretty much to the way it was supposed to be created.
The exception is the this dotted background behind the sentiment. It is actually the inside of the included coordinating envelopes!
Other than that addition and making it landscape (instead of portrait), it is good just like it is!
So, so far, two of my favorites from the offerings this year!
