How about a Friday blog hop?

Our theme this time around it spring fever!

I am having fever with all the wonderful products retiring, lol! I know all good things must come to an end…so I’ll spend this month playing with great stuff before new great stuff comes out!

For example, how about this beautiful card –

Look at the close up of the vellum die cut trim on the left –

I used this gorgeous, To A Wild Rose* stamp set? Pssst, it’s on sale for $23.40!

I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody, finishing off the center with Black Memento ink.

The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green. Such pretty variation in the coloring with the way this stamp stamps.

I also used the coordinating Wild Rose Dies*. Those are a remarkable $8.50, from $34.00!! I think you ‘need’ these!

So pretty! Wouldn’t you agree?

Hello Sunday. Hello friend.

I am creating to keep my mind going during this time. Quarantine crafting I guess!

Only a few more days left of Sale-a-bration to take advantage of free stuff from Stampin’ Up!. Perfect timing since we are spending time a home.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches today –

And, the fact that these Wild Rose Dies* were added to the choices of free stuff! Sure makes for a pretty card –

And combined with this Seriously The Best bold stamp set – what a great combination!

Behind the sentiment I used another Sale-a-bration product, the So Very Vellum*. The color I used here was Soft Sea Foam, its textured. I placed it atop a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock for the subtle color pop.

This all goes well with the Call Me Clover that will sadly be retiring in June. Grab yours now before they sell out!

I will make a few more of these cards to send out. Perfect quick card for these times or anytime you just want to say, hello friend!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I have been really wanting to use this small rose pattern from the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. It doesn’t look ‘Christmasy’. This will be available November 1st.

I finally did used it for a non Christmas card –

This lovely sentiment is from Bloom & Grow. It’s stamped in Merry Merlot on Blushing Bride. It fit perfectly in the the large shape from the Wild Rose Dies.

The circle of flowers was cut from the Layering Circles Dies. The flower and leaf was fussy cut.

Everything was placed on a Blushing Bride Country Floral embossed panel.

This is just soo pretty! And, it’s not Christmas!

Here is the rest of the beautiful paper pack. It’ll be available November 1st.

No Tricks Just Treats

Ok, so today I did not use the Cup of Cheer Dies! Tomorrow though!

I used the Everything Festive stamp set instead!

And, it’s a gift card holder because that is the treat!

Please disregard the ill stamping on the back of the flap! This was my sample at class!

I used the perfectly matched to the stamp Designer Series Paper, Monster Bash. Isn’t this great here?

The sentiment was stamped and die cut using the large shape from the Wild Rose Dies, a very versatile die set.

This is one of my favorite, go-to gift card folds! Simple. It’s a standard 4 1/4 x 11 base, scored at 1 1/2 and 5 1/2. Decorated and you are done!

I did use a tiny, flat Velcro dot to keep it closed.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Fall

Happy Friday!

Today is the first Friday of the month and a blog hop! And, it’s still Stamp-tember for me too!

Our theme this month is fall! Perfect as fall is my favorite time of the year!

I just love this Apple Builder punch in the new holiday mini. It sure makes for a sweet fall card! It can be a pumpkin or an apple!

This lovely pattern paper is the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini catalog.

I am a big fan of white or heirloom pumpkins and this shade of Mint Macaron looks like some of them.

I masked off the center of the middle pumpkin to get this look with no lines. It made it easier to stamp the sentiment inside.

The sentiment is from the Gather Together stamp set. I thought is was a goos one with the three pumpkins!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest challenge –

Playing with two new In Colors!!! Nice!

I was drawn to the To A Wild Rose bundle –

I hadn’t really played with the all the stamps to create the detailed flower until now. I stamped two of the lighter flower images in the Purple Posy. The stamp is designed to to create subtle shading when it stamps. The flower border is in Gorgeous Grape.

For the leaves behind the flowers, I stamped them three times after just one inking! Gave nice depth by doing this.

The sentiment and the die cut strip are also from the same bundle!

I can see doing this in reds as well to make a Christmas card. Wouldn’t that be pretty?

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features shades of purple.

Great colors to show off this new To a Wild Rose stamp set –

This Purple Posy flower is sooo gorgeous!!! I made it simple here, but it also has two additional stamps to create depth and realism with this flower.

The background was made using the Tufted 3d embossing folder. I added the tiny pearls making this card soo elegant. It’s framed with the new Purple Posy In Color.

The sentiment is also from the stamp set. It’s a combination of two. Those are stamped in the darker, Gorgeous Grape on Highland Heather card stock.

This bundle will be available June 4th.
