Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest challenge –

Playing with two new In Colors!!! Nice!

I was drawn to the To A Wild Rose bundle –

I hadn’t really played with the all the stamps to create the detailed flower until now. I stamped two of the lighter flower images in the Purple Posy. The stamp is designed to to create subtle shading when it stamps. The flower border is in Gorgeous Grape.

For the leaves behind the flowers, I stamped them three times after just one inking! Gave nice depth by doing this.

The sentiment and the die cut strip are also from the same bundle!

I can see doing this in reds as well to make a Christmas card. Wouldn’t that be pretty?

Our theme this week features shades of purple.

Great colors to show off this new To a Wild Rose stamp set –

This Purple Posy flower is sooo gorgeous!!! I made it simple here, but it also has two additional stamps to create depth and realism with this flower.

The background was made using the Tufted 3d embossing folder. I added the tiny pearls making this card soo elegant. It’s framed with the new Purple Posy In Color.

The sentiment is also from the stamp set. It’s a combination of two. Those are stamped in the darker, Gorgeous Grape on Highland Heather card stock.

This bundle will be available June 4th.
