Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Black & White

Welcome stampers! Thank for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features card that are only black and white.

Creating black and white cards are a favorite of mine, however being it was the challenge for this week, I all of a sudden was stumped!

Allin all, this turned out pretty gorgeous!

I used the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle (currently on sale) to cut out the beautiful detailed sunflower outline.

The detailed center is actually a piece of All Together Designer Series Paper. It really resembles a flower center! The rest of the card also uses others patterns from the same pack!

To get a nice, crisp, clean stamped sentiment, I used thee Stamparatus.

The inside has a piece of Basic White and also some Designer Series Paper to ties everything together!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

Well……I missed the metallic part, but look at this wild card –

I’ve had this In The Wild Designer Series Paper for a while and never opened it. This challenge made me do it. lol!

I recently bought the coordinating Wild Cats bundle because it is on sale currently! Who doesn’t love a sale?? It is part of the Savings Are In Bloom Promotion that features several bundles and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine all on sale!

Hence why I bought this bundle to make this really wild card! I also used the Greenery Embossing Folder that fits in the mini machine as well as the regular sized Animal Print Embossing Folder.

It just came together quite nicely! Let me know what you think!

Our theme this week features cards that are green!

Let’s get right to it –

And, another look –

This is one of those, not sure what you call it, cards! Perhaps a Pop Up Z Fold, Pop Up Diamond Z Fold, Fold Back Pop Out Card – idk, how about Clever Pop Out Cards, lol? If you know the name, please let me know! Lots of versions out there!

Here is the inside and why it has a unique name –

The middle diamond pops out!

I used the Pierced Blooms Dies to create my shamrocks and the trimmed stems!

The lovely 2 part sentiment is from the Mini Catalog, Happy & Heartfelt. I love the casual, matter of fact sentiments.

Such a nifty card fold!

After numerous stares and tries, I dislike watching others how-to videos, I figured this fold out and made a pattern so I could recreate it in the future!

What do you think? Pretty nifty, isn’t it?

Thinking of You

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I am feeling a bit of the spring feels here although for Texas, it is pretty chilly!

I really like these two-step stamping flowers in this Art Gallery stamp set! I used the two colors in the challenge here.

I used the coordinating, Floral Gallery dies for both the flowers and the stem. Convenient as they both fit in the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, and both are on sale!

I bit hard to see in the picture, but, I also used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing folder On the Mango Melody layer.

This is a great card for a variety of circumstances, colors and all!

The last detail was a bow on the flower stem! It added just the right touch the card needed!

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Monochromatic Cards

Welcome stampers! Thank for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features one color cards.

Ohhh, I love monochromatic cards – so much so, I made five!

I used the retiring 2020-2022 In-Colors, so it had to be five! These inks, refills, and card stocks will be gone May 2, if they last that long!

Each card uses the Flowing Flowers stamp set. Such a gorgeous set!

Each card was stamped the same way and 2 large flowers were added after they were fussy cut.

All the sentiments are also from the same stamp set. That is a wonderful feature of this set! It is a perfect all around set!

The sentiments are on die cut pieces. Those are from the Window Flower Box Dies – of all sets! I used the shutters and the window for the sentiments on my cards. Now, that is thinking outside the box!

These Welcoming Window Dies are on sale this month along with the Mini Stampin’ Cut Emboss machine!

I like how the edges aren’t really straight on the die cuts! It adds a bit of uniqueness to the cards.

Simple. Elegant. Beautiful cards!

And, I even stamped the inside of each card with one of the flower stamps! Same one on the outer edge of the cards under the Basic White panel!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I am just lovin’ this Flowering Rain Boots Bundle these days! It makes for such a sweet cards, like this one –

Here, I added the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to the card! I really haven’t used it much. It mimics the lattice pattern in the Rain Boots Dies.

I love the detailed cultivator! I used two colors here to make it more realistic looking!

I am trying to do more with the insides of my cards. Here I added more seed packets! Too cute!

All the dies I used today, I used with my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine! I didn’t realize just how much I use it until it went on sale! Yes, this mini machine is 20% off! And so are several bundles you can use with it. Look at all of them here!

I sort of went with a loose interpretation of animals –

A ladybug! Lol! I just love this Ladybug Builder Punch! It pairs well with this Pattern Party Designer Series Paper!

I think this just made for a sweet card! I love the sentiment stamped in the wings!

The triangle on this card is from the Stitched Triangle Dies. I used the Mini Stamp Cut’n Emboss to cut it out! Conveniently, this little cutter and several dies are on sale for the month of March! Check it out here –

Happy Monday! Last day of February and the last day for Sale-a-bration!

How about a quick and easy Thank You card using the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper? This nifty card shows both sides of the paper.

This was probably my favorite pattern in the pack. I was saving it!

Welcome to a Share it Sunday blog hop!

I am having a class this weekend and decided to create just one more card to choose from –

I used this gorgeous Sale-a-bration bundle, Friendly Hello for this card. A similar card is shown in the Sale-a-bration brochure. I gave the idea my own spin.

The cluster surrounded in green is actually from one of the patterns in the Designer Series Paper pack. I added the additional stamped images of the double flowers, thin leaves, and the berries. After, I cut the image out by hand.

I added the focal point to a piece of vellum, then placed that on another piece of Designer Series Paper from the pack.

I did insert a sweet little ribbon piece, adding some Patel Pearls near the top to tie in the colors.

I am going out on a limb for this card –

We recently had a discussion about taking a family vacation to Holland and seeing all the beautiful tulip fields! Hence the card!

I thought this paper was perfect to show we were literally ‘thinking of you’ for an adventure to Holland! The simple layout really shows off this paper well.

I used the Essential Tag Punch for the sentiment. The bow finished it off nicely.

Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop – Safari Celebration

I recently got the February 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Safari Celebration, and I just LOVE it! But honestly, I didn’t think I would like it based on the sneak peaks, so, just got one. Now I ‘need’ more, lol!

So, so, cute!

I decided to mix up the card bases included in the kit adding a bit of Soft Suede on a Pear Pizzazz base.

I love the carefree look on the elephants face! Roller skates? On an elephant? Yes, please!!!

This giraffe character was my favorite. Look closely. All sorts of fun going on here. Banner between the horns. Lashes. Earrings. Cupcake. Animal print shirt. Cuffed pants. Heels. How can you not just love this??

This monkey though, his face! He is having the time of his life hula hooping! I guess I would to if I could hula hoop!

I just love all of them!

Windmill Birthday

Here is our current color challenge –

I’m in a ‘feeling Dutch’ mood this week, so I created this beauty –

So very pretty! The focal point, the windmill, is from the Windmill Fields Dies. They are soo pretty!

I mean, just look as the sweet little mini tulip border in Bumblebee card stock! This die is in there too!

I think the paper here really sets this Durch themed card off. It resembles Delft tiles!

I love, Love, LOVE this tulip pattern paper from the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. I was an easy choice with this sketch and the watercolor theme!
