It is a sweet fun fold card!

As it opens, it is soo cute!

This panel is a large M & M card cut to fit.

Wala! I loved this card!

The inside green is part of a M & M Cards & Envelopes, cut to fit. I placed another smaller M & M card on top. Matches perfectly!

I did use additional card stock to create the base. This is a pretty nifty fold, easily done with these products!

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 6

Day 6 –

It’s a little hot chocolate box! This was created from two of the larger cards.

This card and the sentiment is perfect for a cold day and warm hot chocolate. The pink inside was pretty, bonus!

My hot chocolate packet was my template. Measure the width of your packet to get that measurement, score a little past that. Add two 1/2″ score lines, still for the width and side of your box. Score at the bottom, 1/2″. Angle cut flaps. Glue box together.

Both front and back look the same because of the way I scored it. Soo cute!

I finished it off by adding a border sticker from the kit to the box. I tied the 3/16″ Iridescent Trim on the hot chocolate packet! This will work for a variety of hot chocolate packets!

Day 5 –

This is another Fun Fold Card – that stands!

I only added card stock for the card base. Everything else is either from the Memories & More Cards or the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes!

Here is the card open. I used one of the card bases cut up for the strips, and two smaller cards for the outside and inside.

You can see how the card stands from this top view! Pretty cool!

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 4

Get ready for some real creativity!

Day 4 –

It is a little memory or scrap book using 4 of the Santa Express Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (which sadly have sold out). This was probably my favorite project from the collection I made.

This is the cover. I used a large card and a half of another large card. Remember, there is no stamping or additional supplies in these projects.

First set of pages as the book is opened. I used 2 of the smaller cards here, plus I cut up one of the larger cards for the wording. You could also used the pockets from the envelope to stash a photo or other keepsakes.

Second set of pages. I used a large cards for each page, with one large card cut in half for the journaling.

Third page set. One simple large card on the left. And another large card cut in half. This one has a pocket for stashing a picture or keepsake.

This is the back. I used a large card. plus the other half from the fronts card. I added two sticker numbers for the date. Such a cute touch!

To create the book base, I inserted the envelope flaps inside one another. I added an envelope to each end by inserting them as well. After I got the configuration I liked, I added a thin line of liquid glue to hold everything together. The rest, I used adhesive for the pages.

I will make up a few of these for quick gifts and few kits to sell.

It is a really neat Fun Fold!

I featured this, and 4 other cards recently at a class.

I love how there is no need to stamp anything so it is perfect for those who feel they are stamp challenged!

I added only card stock and adhesive to this project.

It is really a WOW! It stands niceley and would be a great option for an expandable photo card.

And it even fits into an envelope!

Our theme today is : It’s beginning to look like Christmas

A lot of people put up a Christmas tree during the Thanksgiving weekend. This card reminds me of that –

This is the Decorated with Happiness Bundle. It is pretty cool how it cuts two usable die cuts at once! I used both here. I loved the two ‘santa suits’.

The star made a nifty santa buckle.

I debated about what color to stamp the sentiment in, but I chose Real Red.

The addition of the Sequins were just what the card needed.

Such a sweet Christmas card! Wouldn’t you agree?

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 1

Day 1 –

A little Christmas Countdown treat box! Actually, 12! One for each of the 12 Days of Christmas.

I made all 12 of these from the larger M&M Cards. There are enough patterns for 2 each using the solid sides.

I have included a visual on how to make these little boxes.

Score lines for the little boxes using any 4″ x 6″ size card stock –

Score at 1″ parallel to the long side
Rotate
Score at 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″, 3 1/4″, 3 1/2″, 4 1/4″ parallel to short side
Note : picture shows 2 different dimensions, the lower ones and written here are correct

Notch as shown here –

Accordian fold the score lines, the sides are scored to fold in like a paper bag.

I started using Tear & Tape for assembly, but found the liquid glue worked better, and was quicker, lol!

Fold up and glue!

Just as cute as can be? Wouldn’t you say?

I added the trimmings last.

The numbers are actually in the Santa Express Memories & More Cards. I only added the 3/16″ Iridescent Trim to keep the box closed.

Christmas Wishes

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!

Thank you for joining our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current layout challenge –

I do love Thanksgiving quite a bit, but I went with a Christmas card today –

….and a fancy one at that!

For this card, I started with creating the wreath. I had all these scraps from making Thanksgiving cards using the Autumn Bouquet Dies. I used Stampin’ Blends to color them and instantly I had the pieces for a Christmas Wreath!

I felt the wreath needed something to stunning to match it. I chose this background die from the Organic Beauty Dies. It is perfect, especially in Gold Foil.

Lastly, this banner for the sentiment was the finishing touch this card needed.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

Optional Theme : Paper Piecing

I missed the ball on the ‘paper piecing’ and that is totally ok. I used the sketch only –

Where do I start? I really wanted to create a Santa suit. So, I started with a piece of Poppy Parade, and notched the corners with the Very Best Trio Punch.

I added a strip of the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon along with a ‘buckle’ created from a die cut oval and a Best Label Punched piece.

To complete the card, I stamped the background ‘falala’ from the Framed & Festive stamp set. This repeated stamped sentiment was created by freehand stamping. Not too bad if I do say so myself

I was torn between a Thanksgiving or Christmas card of gratitude. I went with Christmas –

A really sweet one for Christmas! I used the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Candy Canes Dies. After cutting two opposite candy canes, I placed them together to form a heart.

This beautiful background is the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. It is the perfect backdrop for this candy cane heart.

This wonderful sentiment is from a new stamp set called Framed Florets. I can see myself using it a lot!

I loved this card soo much, I decided to feature it at my class this weekend. Here is another sample using a different pattern of candy canes –

It is so pretty in either color combo! Which is your favorite?

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I was inspired to create a simple, elegant Christmas card. I think I succeeded –

I started with the cutting these gifts from the Spruced Up Outlines Dies. Keeping the inside pieces, I rearranged the colors, then adhered them to a Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.

I added a cut apart sentiment from the Inspired Thought stamp set. I was perfect for these gifts. Especially when paired with the inside sentiment, Wishing you all the beautiful gifts of Christmas.

Look closely at the background on the front of the card, it’s the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing Folder. I love the look it gives the card.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

Optional Theme : Holiday Blues

This challenge inspired me to play with this adorable Sweetest Gingerbread bundle –

I had no idea how fun this set was! Just look how cute! I die cut my houses first, then added the stamping, and the die cut windows. Simple. Adorable.

Yes, I rotated the sketch to fit my card design better. You can do that too, if you need to!

The sweet tiny hearts are from the retired Dog Builder Punch. I have kept this punch specifically for these hearts! The are the perfect size!

I placed the houses on a pattern piece from the Storybook Gnomes. I added the Stitched With Whimsey die cut border edge all around. It gives the card that added detail it needed. When I adhered it down, I only adhered the part inside the stitching so the outer part would go up a bit.

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Vintage Thanksgiving

Our theme today is : Vintage Thanksgiving

I needed some table cards for my upcoming ‘Friendsgiving Card Buffet’ and I created the perfect ‘vintage’ card –

Absolutely adorable, right?

I started with a trimmed card base of 4 1/4″ x 4 3/4″, scored at 4 3/4″. I used the Very Best Trio Punch for the four corners creating the ‘pumpkin’ shape. The stem adds the length creating a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card.

I added the center band from the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper.

I also used a leaf and some gems from the Label Leaf & Amber Gem Combo Pack. The leaf I glue down in the center and used Dimensionals on the tips to elevate that part, creating depth in the simple, flat leaf.

The sentiment is from the Hello Harvest and is very appropriate for all my stampin’ friends! It fits the label Me Fancy Punch perfectly!

Isn’t this simply cozy? This Storybook Gnome Designer Series Paper really sets the feel for this card!

Of course, this cute bow stands out pretty good as well! It is Iridescent Trim.

This sentiment from the Ringed with Nature stamp set fits perfectly theme for this card. After stamping. I used one of the Seasonal Labels Dies to cut it out. I trimmed the right side flush with the card.
