Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I’m still playing with my favorite, Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper –

This is also a go-to layout of mine as well!

The sentiment placed on a die cut house added a little sweetness to the card. The die cut house is from the Gingerbread House Dies.

The Gold 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon really shines behind the sentiment.

This wonderful sentiment is from the Framed & Festive Stamp Set. It is soo versatile, not just for Christmas!

This will be one of the cards I send out this year.

Thank for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our holiday theme today will be a country Christmas!

This was fun to create! I started with the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper.

The first two layers were cut with the Stitched with Whimsy Dies.

Next came the wreath. I used a few different card stocks and the Country Wreaths dies to create a simple focal point.

I am playing with one of my favorite Designer Series Papers a few more times before it is gone for good –

This is the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. I used as many of the patterns as I could!

The colors are soo reminiscent of Christmas for me, reds and greens.

The sentiment is simple, but meaningful. Christmas To Remember has lots of great sentiments for cards, outside, and inside. It can be found in the large catalog and is available until May.

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 12

Hello Stampers!

Didn’t I have a treat for you for the past 12 days!?!!? Did you see them all??

I have taken both the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack and the Santa Express Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and created 12 different simple fun fold cards, mini boxes, treat bags, and other items using almost only these items with minimal additional supplies!

Get ready for the last day of my creativity with this wonderful project!

Day 12 –

Isn’t this the sweetest??

This has become our new tradition! So, of course, I had to frame it crafty style! What better way than to use the M & M Cards!?!?!?!

For the front, I used half of a M & M Card & Envelope card. One large polka dot card, and one small card. The size of the picture allowed for the scallops on the small card to be shown around the photo which was really a perfect addition.

The frame is use one of the M & M Cards & Envelopes. The easel, uses one, plus a scrap. You can see the easel here –

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 11

Day 11 –

Yep. Another Santa card! And, a fun fold at that!

The card looks pretty neat as its opened. I was able to use the acetate pieces that are in the kit here.

Here it is standing tall! It is an easel card!

I did add two different card stocks here, Crumb Cake, and Evening Evergreen.

This card used two small cards from the M & M pack, Plus a partial from the M & M Cards & Envelopes, the red behind the acetate and the green speckled border behind Santa.

Pretty cute, Santa card, right?

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 10

Day 10 –

Gift tags! Everyone uses gift tags at Christmas!

These were easy easy!

I used one of the large M & M Cards and trimmed the sides a bit and cut it in half.

I placed that card on one of the M & M Cards & Envelopes that was also cut it in half. Punched a hole in the upper corner. Added the 3/16″ Iridescent Trim to tie onto a bag or stick onto a gift later.

I will write or die cut initials for the tags as I use them. The inside I will write a little note!

Our theme today is : All That Glistens

I had soo much fun creating this –

I created a wreath using the Decorated Pine Dies. Initially, I used two of the main branches to create the partial circle. After adding the ornaments, I felt it needed a few more. I die cut some of the smaller leaves and stuck them where they were needed.

These ornaments are simply gorgeous wouldn’t you say? They are nice, bold, and shiny! Making them all silver made them pop!

I stamped a simple greeting from the coordinating Decorated with Happiness stamp set.

Quite beautiful, don’t you think?

Another fun fold! Bonus –

It is also a gift card holder! Those seem to be the trends these days!

I added Real Red card stock to create this. In addition, I used one large card on the base, three smaller cards on the panels.

The middle panel has a slot to insert a gift card. I used the retired Word Window for this. Handy sometimes to keep all these retired items!

Pretty nifty!

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 8

Day 8 –

I made an adorable twisted easel Santa fun fold card!

Simple on the outside, until opened!

Inside has a place to write, and the ‘sentiment’ in 3D!

I used a small M & M card, plus one of the M & M card bases for the Santa backing and the inside.

For this project, I only added Crumb Cake card stock for the base and Real Red ink.

I flipped the wooden ‘ho ho ho’ over and lightly tapped it on the in pad to color it. Let is dry and adhered it at an angle to hold Santa up! Lol

Day 7 –

It is a sweet fun fold card!

As it opens, it is soo cute!

This panel is a large M & M card cut to fit.

Wala! I loved this card!

The inside green is part of a M & M Cards & Envelopes, cut to fit. I placed another smaller M & M card on top. Matches perfectly!

I did use additional card stock to create the base. This is a pretty nifty fold, easily done with these products!

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 6

Day 6 –

It’s a little hot chocolate box! This was created from two of the larger cards.

This card and the sentiment is perfect for a cold day and warm hot chocolate. The pink inside was pretty, bonus!

My hot chocolate packet was my template. Measure the width of your packet to get that measurement, score a little past that. Add two 1/2″ score lines, still for the width and side of your box. Score at the bottom, 1/2″. Angle cut flaps. Glue box together.

Both front and back look the same because of the way I scored it. Soo cute!

I finished it off by adding a border sticker from the kit to the box. I tied the 3/16″ Iridescent Trim on the hot chocolate packet! This will work for a variety of hot chocolate packets!

Day 5 –

This is another Fun Fold Card – that stands!

I only added card stock for the card base. Everything else is either from the Memories & More Cards or the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes!

Here is the card open. I used one of the card bases cut up for the strips, and two smaller cards for the outside and inside.

Santa Express 12 Days of Christmas Day 4

Get ready for some real creativity!

Day 4 –

It is a little memory or scrap book using 4 of the Santa Express Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (which sadly have sold out). This was probably my favorite project from the collection I made.

This is the cover. I used a large card and a half of another large card. Remember, there is no stamping or additional supplies in these projects.

First set of pages as the book is opened. I used 2 of the smaller cards here, plus I cut up one of the larger cards for the wording. You could also used the pockets from the envelope to stash a photo or other keepsakes.

Second set of pages. I used a large cards for each page, with one large card cut in half for the journaling.

Third page set. One simple large card on the left. And another large card cut in half. This one has a pocket for stashing a picture or keepsake.

This is the back. I used a large card. plus the other half from the fronts card. I added two sticker numbers for the date. Such a cute touch!

To create the book base, I inserted the envelope flaps inside one another. I added an envelope to each end by inserting them as well. After I got the configuration I liked, I added a thin line of liquid glue to hold everything together. The rest, I used adhesive for the pages.

I will make up a few of these for quick gifts and few kits to sell.
