Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I have another darlin’ little gnome today! He has been sitting on my desk for several weeks now just waiting to placed on a card! He’s a little different than the other versions I’ve created.

Right?? Super cute little guy!

The base piece is Flowering Foils colored with Light & Dark Blends in Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam.

The sentiment is from the Heartfelt stamp set and cut with a Painted Labels Die.

I made him using punches and dies. Take a look –

I used bottom to top –

hat – Umbrella Builder Punch
nose – Dog Builder Punch

Happy Spring break for many!

I’m getting geared up for my March Card Buffet soon! And, challenges always get my creativity flowing!

Today I was inspired to create this birthday gem –

I used the Umbrella Builder punch to create adorable flowers!! I just love to use this punch for flowers!!!

The leaves are die cut from the Lily Pad Dies and the strip of grass comes from the Coordination Product Release, Special Day Dies.

This is just a simply beautiful card!

I used the adorable Under My Umbrella bundle from Stampin’ Up!

This sweet umbrella punch is just perfect for the rainy day feel from the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper. And, it fits the theme perfectly! Lol!

Joy of Sets Something New Blog Hop

Welcome to our first hop of the year for The Joy of Sets!

We are featuring something new!

Since this is a blog hop, you’ll get lots of ideas if you go through the whole thing! It will totally be worth your while!

As I was designing my card, I ran across this wonderful sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!. It was the perfect layout for what I wanted to use!

Since I already played with the Under My Umbrella bundle once today, I just had to use it again!

This time as an actual umbrella! The umbrella, side strip, and the background are all from a new Designer Series Paper that will be available February 4th. All the patterns are quite fun and coordinate with lots of the products in the new Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.
