Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features last minute choices for Sale-a-bration. It ends March 31, 2020.

And, soo many choice there are!

I combined two of the Sale-a-bration* options to create these notecards –

Sale-a-bration* items : Tags in Blooms* and Flowering Foils* Designer Series Paper.

We are all going through challenging times currently. We are all missing our people, family, friends, co-workers – the people in our lives. Why not tell them with a card?!?!

I thought this sentiment from the Tags In Bloom* stamp set was perfect, I miss your face! It says it all!

I used the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper for the printed punched hearts and all the patterned background papers on the cards. This is not a Sale-a-bration item, but a Coordination Release Product that will also be available only until March 31.

The four different foils are from the Flowering Foils* Designer Series Paper, a Sale-a-bration item.

Additionally, I used the Heart Punch Pack and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies on these Notecards & Envelopes.

These are going in the mail today!

Welcome Little One

Happy day!!

I love when someone calls and ask, ‘do you have a card for ____’! I can either rummage through a few hundred categorized cards or I can just whip one up!

I decided it was quicker to whip up a new card –

The request was for a card for a baby girl.

I started with a piece of Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper. I had this adorable bunny stamped, punched, and colored in my stash, so I grabbed that too.

The swirly circle from the Painted Labels Dies was just the right highlight for the bunny.

The sentiment was conveniently in this Welcome Easter stamp set, where the bunny came from. I stamped and punched that using the new Label Me Fancy Punch. I colored the heart to match!

I wanted to add a soft touch of girlie, so I added a floral strip from the Ornate Border Dies. It just tied everything together! And that was pretty much it!

Welcome New Grandbaby

Ohhhh, I am soo excited!!

My friends daughter, which is also my daughters childhood friend, just had a baby girl yesterday! Of course I just had to celebrate card style –

Isn’t this the sweetest!?!?!?!

I started with a sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches –

I was soo excited I just didn’t know where to begin! This helped!

I had this little Welcome Easter stamp on my table. All these cute little animals were looking at me with cute eyes! The lamb won.

I had THE perfect sentiment from Grandma’s House to use too! Check out this set! It is wonderful if you have friends who are becoming grandmas!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme :

This is an adorable challenge for the next two weeks!!!

I used the layout and from the picture I used the colors. I went an adorable Easter card –

Right?? See what I mean?

I started with a base that has a slight white and black pattern. It is from the Sale-a-bration* option, Golden Honey Designer Series Paper.

Next, I figured out my strip size for the card and cut them from the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper.

I pulled out the Welcome Easter stamp set and stamped the three animals and the sentiment twice. I punched them all out using the 1 3/8″ Circle punch. I placed them on the card for a test and decided they could use a bit of coloring. Blends to the rescue!

Simple adorable, fun Easter card!

I have a really sweet one for you –

Right???

I started with this beautiful Detailed Hearts Die in Silver Foil.

I literally went through my Designer Series Papers to find the right one that looked Valentine-ish. This Pleased As Punch paper won! It will be available February 4th.

I paired that with a Blushing Bride base and hearts from the same Designer Series Paper!

Pretty simply, really stunning!

I went with the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper that will be available on February 4th. –

This is one of my favorite sentiments! It is from the stamp set, Strong & Beautiful.

I guess that goes well with my favorite dies, Stitched So Sweetly. All three shapes use these dies.

The little flowers are from the same Designer Series Paper. I used a Sale-a-Bration punch, Small Bloom, to punch them out. I earned it free!

The card is finished off with a Baker’s Twine bow! This card is just as sweet as can be!

Joy of Sets Something New Blog Hop

As I was designing my card, I ran across this wonderful sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!. It was the perfect layout for what I wanted to use!

Since I already played with the Under My Umbrella bundle once today, I just had to use it again!

This time as an actual umbrella! The umbrella, side strip, and the background are all from a new Designer Series Paper that will be available February 4th. All the patterns are quite fun and coordinate with lots of the products in the new Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features an imaginative use of a product or stamp.

I used one of the new Designer Series Papers, Pleased As Punch (that will be available February 4th) to create these whimsical flowers (as a demonstrator, we can preorder these to get familiar with them) and the Under My Umbrella Bundle for this sweet number –

Both the flowers and the green layer are from the pack.

The flowers were cut with the coordinating Umbrella Builder Punch. The colors are flower like and that is why I chose this as a creative way to use a punch! Cool, huh?

The Whisper White and green layer are cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. They give a little added something something to the card.
