Boy, do we have fun in store for you today!

Our theme this week features favors for Easter. I created sweet little favors that can be used for Easter, Spring party, a shower, Mother’s Day, or whatever day! Just look at these cuties!

These mini flower pots hold a Hershey’s nugget!

The one is missing one to show it empty too! 

Super quick and easy to make as well. A sheet of card stock will make 8, or you can create them in singles. For this tutorial, they are single and on my template paper to easily see the measurements and cuts. These work best with a liquid glue or maybe Tear & Tape. I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen for mine.

Pot first –

  • card stock strip, 2″ x 5 1/2″
  • score at 1/2″, 2 1/8″, rotate, score the same from other end

  • in the middle portion, remove 1/4″ on both sides

  • cut diagonal from inset to under scoreline on all four areas

  • fold up two center scorelines

  • fold down 1/2″ flaps, pot rims
  • adhere fold down, pot rims, with Mini Dimensionals, and possible glue like me, lol, on both sides

Flower next –

  • punch two flowers (Tulip or retiring Daisy work for this size)
  • strip for stem, 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • fold stem in half for stability and support, glue together
  • glue 1/2″ of stem to center of one side of pot
  • adhere one flower with glue at a time 3/4″ up, also for stability and support

  • adhere other flower to cover stem
  • glue pot together along the top only (you will create a triangle from the side)

  • add bow or ribbon, and tag to outside
  • insert candy in side

I am playing around with the sweet Easter Friends stamps set to create this lovely Easter card –

Bold, bright, and fun! The sweet bunny is stamped in Gorgeous Grape and cut by hand.

He is bordered using the largest of the Eden Dies. Frames him quite nicely!

To help him stand out, I placed a trimmed pieces of Flirty Flamingo behind him creating an adorable focal image.

I added the bow (yes, in retiring Bumblebee instead Daffodil Delight) to tie in the sentiment and for balance.

For interest, I used an additional Bermuda Bay color for the stamping of the flowers and the sentiment.

I came up with the sweetest card using these colors –

I used the All Squared Away bundle for this. It was my favorite when the catalog came out!

I added two flowers in the two different sizes for some interest and whimsy.

I backed the two die cut squares in the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. The other, I placed it on stop, then stamped the sentiment.

Great to share a masculine card! We have far fewer of these! And baseball? Who doesn’t love baseball??

My card is pretty simple. Guys don’t really notice lots of stuff.

These little die cut tickets are just wonderful! I was happy that they fit into the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Everything die that I have used month only fits into the little machine! It is on sale this month and I wanted to see if I could pull it off. Not a problem at all!

I went with a cute card today –

I stamped this bunny from the Easter Friends stamp set using the Stamparatus to get a nicely stamped image.

I embossed three panels as well. Softening the overall look. This Checks & Dots Embossing folder is very versatile. It also fits into the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine too! Soo adorable! And, IT IS ON SALE!!!

Creating black and white cards are a favorite of mine, however being it was the challenge for this week, I all of a sudden was stumped!

Allin all, this turned out pretty gorgeous!

Hence why I bought this bundle to make this really wild card! I also used the Greenery Embossing Folder that fits in the mini machine as well as the regular sized Animal Print Embossing Folder.

I really like these two-step stamping flowers in this Art Gallery stamp set! I used the two colors in the challenge here.

I used the coordinating, Floral Gallery dies for both the flowers and the stem. Convenient as they both fit in the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, and both are on sale!

I bit hard to see in the picture, but, I also used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing folder On the Mango Melody layer.

Ohhh, I love monochromatic cards – so much so, I made five!

I used the retiring 2020-2022 In-Colors, so it had to be five! These inks, refills, and card stocks will be gone May 2, if they last that long!

Each card uses the Flowing Flowers stamp set. Such a gorgeous set!

Each card was stamped the same way and 2 large flowers were added after they were fussy cut.

All the sentiments are also from the same stamp set. That is a wonderful feature of this set! It is a perfect all around set!

The sentiments are on die cut pieces. Those are from the Window Flower Box Dies – of all sets! I used the shutters and the window for the sentiments on my cards. Now, that is thinking outside the box! 

These Welcoming Window Dies are on sale this month along with the Mini Stampin’ Cut Emboss machine!

I like how the edges aren’t really straight on the die cuts! It adds a bit of uniqueness to the cards.

All the dies I used today, I used with my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine! I didn’t realize just how much I use it until it went on sale! Yes, this mini machine is 20% off! And so are several bundles you can use with it. Look at all of them here!
