Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

We are switching up our challenges a bit to sketches from the new catalog –

What an adorable sketch to recreate!

Since the Designer Series Paper is on sale, I decided to have the You’re A Peach as my backdrop to these luscious stamped peaches –

Doesn’t this want to make you go grab some fresh peaches????

I started with the Picture This Dies to cut my rectangle shapes. I just rearranged them on my card!

My peaches were stamped from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set, then die cut using the coordinating Peach Dies. It comes in a nice bundle too!

I love how the stamp looks real when stamped! Notice the shading!

I thought the sentiment was just as sweet adding it to the side.

Lastly, I added some of the Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins to fill in the blank areas around the peaches. Such a nice addition of color and sparkle!

Stamping with Friends Blog Hop – Slimline Cards

Hello Stampin’ Friends!

Welcome to a hop with some new stampin’ friends for me –

Our theme this month is a Slimline Card!

I love the Mini Slim size! I start with a 7″ x 6″ card stock piece , scored at 3 1/2″. This makes the the finished size 3 1/2″ x 6″, top fold.

For this particular card, I started with a 3 1/2″ x 12″ piece of basic White, scored at 6″. Same finished size, but the fold is on the left side because I made this into a fun fold mini slim – book fold! I added the additional score line at 7 1/2″. That gets adhered closed, thus making the book fold!

I used the adorable You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper that is on sale this month!

I also used the coordinating Sweet As A Peach Bundle –

It is just a sweet as can be!

I like this size Mini Slim for two reasons. 1) You use way less product on a finished card. 2) The card fits into a #6 3/4 personal check envelope. These can be found readily and you can even find really nice ones online.

I added a strip of Designer Series Paper to make the envelope coordinate with the rest of the card.

Fun Fold Fridays – Pocket Front Card

Happy Friday!

I missed last week, thank you for understanding!

Look at this sweet card –

I used the new Sweet As A Peach Bundle to create it –

Such a fun set! And, priced nicely for the bundle!

The way the card is folded, there is a pocket on the front! My card slides into it.

I stamped the peaches three times in Pale Papaya. The stamp creates the shading for you! For the stems, I inked up the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and used a Stampin’ Write Marker in Early Espresso to color the stem. I die cut all parts.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso. It would brighten anyone’s day!

I added the Genial Gems randomly on the card for a little more color.

I followed this nifty Pocket Fold card idea from a Splitcoaststampers tutorial. So, why re-right it? Dina explains it well!

I used the 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in Pale Papaya on the flap and the triangles at the bottom.

For my card, I did add the Basic White on the inside and the pocket insert on the front. This is in addition to what’s in the tutorial.

I look forward to creating more of these. They are easy, fun, and a little different from the everyday average card!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

Great layout for just about anything!

I’m feeling peachy this week, so I went with the Sweet As A Peach Bundle again –

This is how I used it –

Sooo cute!

I built the card around the stamped and die cut peaches. I used Basic White for the stamping, but placed them on Very Vanilla for a softer look.

I used the 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for the rectangle. The Pale Papaya is a soft peach-ish color.

I backed that on the really cool Thanks & Hello Embossing Folder in Pear Pizzazz –

I love all the different languages! I added the additional, hello friend, sentiment in Early Espresso. I stamped it after I assembled the card – I could because these stamps are clear!

Happy Monday!

We have a new sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge –

Pretty fun starting point for playing with new stuff! Stampin’ Up just had a new catalog release last week.

I am playing with the new Sweet As A Peach Bundle –

And, the coordinating Designer Series Paper, You’re A Peach –

I created a really sweet card here –

I cut the pattern paper first, added a strip of the new Pale Papaya, and added the stamped, die cut peach.

I went with a sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set, a favorite new stamp too!

I hope I have inspired you by this peachy card!
