Hello Stampin’ Friends!

Welcome to a hop with some new stampin’ friends for me –

Our theme this month is a Slimline Card!

I love the Mini Slim size! I start with a 7″ x 6″ card stock piece , scored at 3 1/2″. This makes the the finished size 3 1/2″ x 6″, top fold.

For this particular card, I started with a 3 1/2″ x 12″ piece of basic White, scored at 6″. Same finished size, but the fold is on the left side because I made this into a fun fold mini slim – book fold! I added the additional score line at 7 1/2″. That gets adhered closed, thus making the book fold!

I used the adorable You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper that is on sale this month!

I also used the coordinating Sweet As A Peach Bundle –

It is just a sweet as can be!

I like this size Mini Slim for two reasons. 1) You use way less product on a finished card. 2) The card fits into a #6 3/4 personal check envelope. These can be found readily and you can even find really nice ones online.

I added a strip of Designer Series Paper to make the envelope coordinate with the rest of the card.

Happy Saturday!

How about a lot of crafty inspiration today?

We are sharing whatever we are working on.

I have been making and making and making a lot of things lately with soon-to-retire stuff. So, I am taking a break and treating myself to playing with new stuff from the upcoming Stampin’ Up catalog!

I wanted to see the new In Colors and how well they stamped.

I created a set of note card sized (3 1/2″ x 5″) book fold cards!

The new In Colors are –

Pale Papaya, a peachy sort of color.

Fresh Freesia, a light purple color. Darker than the retiring Purple Posy.

Polished Pink. A perfect pink!

Soft Succulent, a nice, soft greenish color.

Evening Evergreen. A rich darker green.

Each card is 3 1/2″ x 10″, scored at 5″ and 6 1/4″. I adhered the left side closed using Tear & Tape Adhesive.

I used a new stamp set as well, Color & Contour. I stamped the dots, flowers, flower centers, and sentiment from this new photopolymer stamp set.

Each card was tied with a piece of 3/8″ Open Weave coordinating ribbon too!

I stamped the front of each envelope with the same flower as the card front. The flap was stamped with the dots like the card front too! So cute!

I am really excited for these new In Colors! How about you?!?!
