Our theme this week features our favorite Sale-a-bration item other than stamps – that’d be paper!

I’d have to say I just love this Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper –

This card was included with my catalogs as a no-stamp Make’n Take!

Super easy and oh, so cute!

I used the Amazing Thanks Dies for the focal point (my favorite die!) –

As you can see these clouds behind the sentiment are also from the same Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. I use the Cloud Punch to easily punch them out! Super quick for creating several card kits!

When opened, the front is a bit shorter to let this lovely pattern peek through!

Happy Friday!

I managed to create a card just because! Well, actually I was inspired by a challenge at Freshly Made Sketches –

I have been playing around with these adorable ladybugs lately –

And when opened –

The ladybug is in the window on a piece of acetate!

How cute is this?!?!

This front, brightly patterned yellow is from the free Sale-a-bration Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. The strip is from the Pattern Party Designer Series paper.

I stamped the leaf and fussy cut it for easy placement in the window. The ladybugs could have also been stamped, but I made them the easy way with the punch and card stock stamping the dots on the wings.

Just as sweet as can be!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color –

After a few attempts at this challenge (I kept using the wrong color green, grrrrr), here is what I came up with –

So pretty! Very appropriate now with all these Omicron cases on the rise here in the greater Houston area.

I bought this set of dies, Here For You, specifically for this die alone! I love it! This will be a special release February 1st!

I combined the die cut words with the Cloud Punch, Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper and also the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.

Such a sweet card filled with lots of love!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

Optional Theme : Embossing

I used one of the smaller embossing folders for this Valentine card –

Sweet, these dotted hearts, right? The other embossed pattern in the set is just as cute!

I used the coordinating Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper for the two patterns shown.

The 3D hearts are retired Resin Hearts. I just had to use them, they added a little something the card needed!

Happy Saturday!

How about lots of great, creative ideas to get you creatin’ this weekend?

Our theme this hop around is anything we are working on!

I am working on Sale-a-bration samples! Multiple, that is!

I used the Friendly Hello Bundle for this lovely set of cards! You can earn it free for the next 2 months!

Each uses the same layout.

And, the same stamped images from the Friendly Hello stamp set. I used Tuxedo Black Memento and the Stamparatus to get nice, evenly stamped images.

I cut all the top pieces the same size, as well as all the bottom pieces,

I mixed and matched each pile to show off both sides of the beautiful papers!

I then decided on the best card base for each color combo.

The sentiment is accented by a stamped flower grouping in the same base color.

Just a lovely set of cards! Which combo is you favorite?

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Loving Sale-a-bration

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features our favorite Sale-a-bration stamp set.

I’d have to say, mine is the Friendly Hello. Over a few days, I createed these –

Why a collection of cards? Because I tried the technique where you stamp a Basic White sheet of card stock and make a bunch of cards, ‘Sheetload of Cards’. Here was my ‘stamped sheet’. Colors used are listed below.

I started by cutting into this for 4 cards. It quickly grew!

Probably the simplest card. Just backed the panel on Flirty Flamingo.

Also simple but I added a bow and popped it up on Dimensionals.

I started to get fancy here as I embossed the panel using the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Pretty much the same idea here, just with Poppy Parade.

I added more color with the card stocks to this version.

This one got the additions of the scalloped panel behind the stamping. Just soo pretty!

Happy New Years Day!

I’m on a roll today with my second hop for the day!

Our theme this month is of course, new stuff!

On January 4, a new Mini Catalog comes out as well as the 2 month Sale-a-bration will start.

I just fell in love with this cute ladybug punch! Actually, it is the Hello Ladybug Bundle, stamp set and punch.

I added the Stitched Greenery Die for the background on the Granny Apple Green. It packs such a punch!

Both cards use the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper for a subtle contrast.

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – New Beginnings

Welcome to my first post for the new 2022 year – a blog hop with Create with Connie and Mary!

Our theme this week features new stuff from the upcoming catalogs!

These cactus though! This is the Cactus Cuties Bundle, stamp set and punch.

Initially, I was going for a simple card and a stepped up card.

But, they ended up being about the same. Adorable!

The other version was the stamped off version of these images.

A few of the images can be punched using the coordinating punch, others I cut by hand.

I also added the Stitched With Whimsy Dies as a background. Rectangles as one, squares on the diagonal on the other.

Just cute as can be! Don’t you agree?

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

Naturally, I went with something for the New Year!

And, I made a slim line card using new products! These are the new Slim Card Dies!

I cut three out in Basic Black, Silver Foil (a recent Clearance Rack find), and Basic White. I filled in the area with the alternating colors and have the remaining pieces to complete two more!

The sentiment came from the retiring Heartfelt Wishes. I used the Stamparatus and only inked up part of this sentiment creating this. I love it! It turned out just the way I envisioned.

2021 Christmas

Sharing my cards I sent this year –

I used the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin, Peaceful Christmas.

I cut up one of the card fronts to create these.

And just combined the elements from both cards to create these.

My ‘intent’ was to stretch the kit and use the other parts to create more cards. I did good to make and send the ones I did! Lol.

Happy Christmas Eve! Thank you for stopping by today!

I managed to eek out a little time over several days to craft a bit with some new stuff!

A new, January – June Catalog, and Sale-a-bration will be here before we know it!

Look at this lovely Sale-a-bration paper collection, Daffodil Afternoon –

I wanted to show off each sheet of this pretty paper!

I paired these cards with the Amazing Thanks Dies!

Each card has the same layout.

The bottom, hard to see layer, is embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

The next two DSP layers are 2 1/4″ x 5″ and 2 1/2″ x 4″.

The strip a Very Vanilla was a nice addition for the sentiment to pop!

All cards are also on a Very Vanilla base.

This makes a great gift set for anyone!

I am not sure which color combo is my favorite.

Happy Sunday stampers!

Sharing some cards I made a while back.

I have some awesome friends and family that have been a huge support during the past few months. I wanted them to know just how thankful we were for the support.

I made the cards, my mom wrote the inside and addressed them.

These were simple to create using the Paper Lattice and weaving ribbon through the open areas.

I used some of my favorite retired Diagonal Stripe Ribbon for these.

I tied bows separately and glued them on the die cut Tailor Made Tags.

This sentiment was really the special part of these cards coming from a new Mini Catalog stamp set, Dahlia Days. You will love this set as it has some really pretty words in it!

I hope by now these cards have been received. They are filled with so much love.

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Winter Wonderland

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features a winter wonderland!

Winter, where are you? I’d like to say. Here in the lovely city of Houston, it has been at least 80+ everyday. 80. Winter, what’s that?

My winter wonderland looks a bit different for me than some of you. My card reflects that!

Snowflakes are winter, right?

This is one of those frameless shaker cards! Soo pretty when opened!

Wouldn’t you agree?

This combination of two different (sold out) paper packs works well too! The pink is from Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series paper, the gray sparkly snowflake is the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper.

Fun and festive from the outside with all the color and movement.

This die was the perfect size for a front focal point.

You Make Me Happy

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current layout challenge lasting two weeks –

I enjoyed this challenge and just making some cards! Here is why –

This layout is perfect for making multiple cards at once!

I used four different patterns of an upcoming Sale-a-bration paper, Sunshine & Rainbows.

I used a new stamp set, Rainbow of Happiness. This sentiment was a partial stamp! I just did not ink up ‘happy’ as I used a die cut instead.

Combined with a retiring die set, Christmas Cheer. I am quite bummed this is retiring – I’ve used this ‘happy’ soo much. Best thing, it is on sale!!! Get it before it is gone for these cards!

Lastly, the rainbow was hand cut from one of the patterns in the paper.

To make all these cards at once, I started with 4 sheets of Designer Series Paper, 5″ x 3 3/4″, being mindful of the pattern direction on the paper . I cut at 1 1/2″ for the left strip, then rotated the whole piece, cutting at 1 1/4″. I made a template first before delving into the good paper, lol!
