Lucky Gnome

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I have another darlin’ little gnome today! He has been sitting on my desk for several weeks now just waiting to placed on a card! He’s a little different than the other versions I’ve created.

Right?? Super cute little guy!

The base piece is Flowering Foils colored with Light & Dark Blends in Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam.

The sentiment is from the Heartfelt stamp set and cut with a Painted Labels Die.

I made him using punches and dies. Take a look –

I used bottom to top –

feet – Perennial Flower Punch
body – Hot Air Balloon Punch
beard – Tropical Dies
hat – Umbrella Builder Punch
nose – Dog Builder Punch

Welcome to our February hop!

Our theme this month is of course, L O V E !

I went with a favorite of mine, gnomes!

I made a smaller, lovelier version of this one. See how cute this one is –

I used the From My Heart Designer Series paper for most of this card.

This little lovely guy is on one of the scalloped Stitched Be Mine Dies. Also, a favorite die set of mine!

This little gnome was created using several unconventional products :

body – Layering Ovals Dies
beard – Tropical Dies
Nose – Dog Builder
Hat – Tulip Builder

Pretty nifty, huh? He is just filled with love!

I used a punched heart from the same Designer Series Paper for the sentiment. The Heartfelt Bundle came in handy when creating this card!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Tuesday!

Here is our latest 2 week challenge –

Optional theme : Stitching

I had to think about this challenge……but, not for long as this is what I came up with –

So sweet. So full of love!

I used the From My Heart Designer Series Paper as my starting point on a Whisper White base. The paper does cover the entire front of the card.

I chose a fun sentiment because it added to the whimsy of the card. It is just fun!

And, I managed to get the ‘stitching’ theme into the card!

I used the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper along with the Heartfelt Bundle, Heartfelt stamp set and Heart Punch Pack. It is soo pretty!

The punched pattern heart and the stamped sentiment are placed on Heart Doilies. Both these colors come in the package.

Simple. Quick. Pretty.

I have a really sweet one for you –

I started with this beautiful Detailed Hearts Die in Silver Foil.

I literally went through my Designer Series Papers to find the right one that looked Valentine-ish. This Pleased As Punch paper won! It will be available February 4th.

I paired that with a Blushing Bride base and hearts from the same Designer Series Paper!

Pretty simply, really stunning!

Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe – January Challenge

Welcome to our monthly Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge blog!

I am happy to start off the new year as the host for the month! I chose all the squares on this months challenge –

Isn’t this an awesome board for the month of January????

And here is my use of the board –

I have a ‘T’ on the board. Red, Hearts, Ribbon and Punch, Ribbon, Pink.

Pretty sweet, right?

I started with all new Stampin’ Up! supplies. Whisper White card base. Stitched Rectangle Silver Foil layer. Scalloped Pink Pirouette layer. Smaller scalloped Designer Series Paper layer. Red foil heart. Polka dot bow.

The red foil heart is part of the same pack of Designer Series Paper as the scalloped heart pattern. Punches nicely using the one of the hearts from Heart Punch Pack.

I can not wait to send this card out! I wonder who will be the lucky recipient!?!?

We Create – New Year New Products

Happy first day of 2020!

What better way celebrate than to have a blog hop????

Our theme this month is anything new!

I thought it would be appropriate to show off Valentine stuff –

I started with a Real Red base. I added this lovely heart panel from the Detailed Hearts Die. It is gorgeous! I’ll be saving all the little hearts for shaker card confetti!

Next came a strip of pattern paper from the From My Heart Designer Series Paper. I used the scallop strip die from the Stitched be Mine Dies to create a little soft border.

The hearts, yes, there are two here, are punched from the Heart Punch Pack from the same DSP. (Two of the patterns coordinate with the punches to create easy, no fuss hearts!)

The sentiment is from the Heartfelt stamp set. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut it out. Simple and clean and does not hide the strip of pattern paper!

This is just a lovely card wouldn’t you agree?
