Here is our current layout challenge –

This is a great go-to sketch! I decided to create a card for an upcoming swap I joined, QC Swappers! I created 14 of these!

More specifically, this was designed for a Sale-a-Bration swap. That’s right, Sale-a-bration will be here in July! The camper is from the Tree Lot dies that you can earn free. And, it just as cute as can be!

I love the detailed curtains and wreath in the set too! This outdoorsy paper pattern is available now. It is from the Lovely Linen Designer Series paper pack.

The Adventure Awaits sentiment comes from the Let’s Set Sail stamp set. It it is perfect for this card! I used my favorite Stylish Shapes to cut it out.

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

These are my favorite layouts! They are great for multiple cards like the Stack, Cut, and Shuffle types. Here, I did just a single card –

Just as sweet as can be, right? These light and bright colors remind me of summer! And, so does this stamp set.

I used the Best Butterflies Bundle and coordinating Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper!

For the sentiment, I partially stamped the ‘sending’, then die cut it a couple of times to match the other stamped and die cut sentiment.

For cards like this, I always make a template. I can recreate a similar card in the future and not waste any pattern paper!

Isn’t this gnome the cutest!?!?!? He is from a new bundle coming out in July, the Kindest Gnome Bundle, stamp set and dies.

The sentiment is from the Deckled Rectangles Dies, a favorite of mine.

The diamond background is also a favorite of mine, from the Organic Beauty Dies. This is just such a fun card!

Of course, this Lovely & Lasting Bundle, stamp set and coordinating punch, is perfect as well! It is a wonderful all occasion set!

Notice how the stamped flower image just pops? After stamping it, I used the scalloped circle from the Give It A Whirls Dies to cut it out. It is larger than any of the other circles Stampin’ Up has.

My favorite, go-to shade of green is Soft Sea Foam –

And, these All That Dies – they are wonderful! They are the diamond shapes cut in Old Olive and Garden Green.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. Simple and clean. I backed it with a strip of Old Olive.

I think these dies will be fun for Christmas time.

Just how perfect is this basket ‘apples’ to show off shades of red?

I used the Cherry Builder Punch to make these ‘apples’. Did you notice? The stems I trimmed and used them inverted. The leaves are also from the punch.

The adorably detailed basket is from the Full Basket Dies. So is the sweet little cloth folded over the basket. I used the soon-to-retire Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper for it, and the pattern background here.

I am just in love with this card and the way it turned out! It is just the sweetest. Wouldn’t you agree?

Blogging Friends June 2022 Blog Hop – Step It Up

Happy Friday my stampin’ friends!

It’s been a while since I got together with this talented group of stampers. We’d like to inspire you with some great ideas today!

Our theme this month is one card, three way, showing different crafting styles!

Here are my three cards –

I used the Best Butterflies Bundle and the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. I used the same layout for each card, but adding a little something each time to ‘step it up’.

This first card is for the ‘beginning crafter’. It is a great card, simple in design with minimal dimension. Actually, totally my style of a card.

‘Casual crafter’ for this one. I added the Fresh Freesia card base, popped up the Basic White layer and sentiment. Love this style as well.

‘Avid crafter’ for this stepped up beauty! I added a bit more dimension here, the Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon, and the 2022-2024 Matte Decorative Dots. Just gorgeous adding these other items!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I have been wanting to play with this little bear from the Happier Than Happier bundle –

I sure think this card did this little guy justice! The way I positioned him, looks like he is waving!

I placed him on a die cut tag from the Designer Tags Dies. First playing with these as well.

This lighter plaid pattern of the In Color Designer Series Paper really coordinates nicely here.

Hard to tell in the pictures, but the sentiment was cut using the tag in the Happy Forest Die set. I wanted it shorter, so I placed it back under the die and recut it. This time, removing the rounded part.

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – In Color & Classic Colors

Thanks for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features one new In Colors and two classic colors.

I chose the new In Color ink, Sweet Sorbet, along with Crumb Cake and Night of Navy –

This lovely focal point is the beautiful Bouquet of Thanks stamp set.

I, once again, changed up the ‘thank you’ sentiment banner. I managed to block out the words to stamp the sentiment. This time changing the words to Love & Big Hugs from the Sending Smiles stamp set.

The stamped flowers are framed here with the Fabulous Frames Dies. It has some nice detailing all the way around.

This card is fitting for the current event of the week. As most know, I am from Texas and we are coping with the tragedy in Uvalde that occured on Tuesday.

Here is our current layout challenge. Doesn’t this look fun??

I wanted to play with a favorite color of mine, Starry Sky. Just look how beautifully this Flowing Flowers stamp set stamps –

Gorgeous, right? I just love how how all the details in the flower just pop! Yes, after stamping, I cut it out by hand, or fussy cut it.

I placed it on a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I think the Dots & Spots just really pops on this Starry Sky card base. Such a nice contrast!

What do you think of monochromatic cards? They make a nice statement!

Our theme this week features the new In Color combination of Orchid Oasis and Sweet Sorbet.

I had soo much fun with these colors, I created two cards!

Both use the same elements, just slightly different. I wanted to show off both sides of the pattern papers. Here is what they look like open –

This is the 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I am in love with this years patterns for these!

I made these sweet birds using the Songbird Builder Punch in both colors. One is flipped to show you can make them either way!

Aren’t these just adorable? The sentiment and piece behind are from the Stylish Shapes Dies! This set is a great all purpose, must have die set with circles, squares, and banners, like these!

I am not sure which of the terrific greetings I will choose for the inside. These cards could be used for new baby, gender reveal, birthday, new neighbor – you name it!

Country Chic Thank You

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I bought this new full stamp, Bouquet of Thanks, and have been itching to use it. So here goes –

It is a very pretty, larger, detailed image. I used the Stamparatus to get an evenly stamped image. It really is a must have with any stamps, especially these larger, detailed ones.

I used Memento Black on Very Vanilla for the entire image. I placed a piece of Sahara Sand where the ribbon and sentiment were and stamped those. I hand cut around it for a little pop of color on the flower image. And, yes, I used the Stamparatus for this as well.

The colors are lovely together. Almost a rustic feel to them. To further that rustic feel, I thought these Deckled Rectangles Dies were the perfect look for this card! And, also favorite new product of mine!

I love this new Brewed For You Bundle! The Brew Dies are very detailed with bubbles even! Here, I just used the glass outline after stamping it and the glass contents!

Another favorite new die set is these new Stylish Shapes Dies! Glad we have these now! The stitching around the edges is very nice!
