Hello Stampers!

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop with lots of great alternative ideas using the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Sweet Springtime.

Pictured is the refill of the kit. Subscribers get a stamp set and ink spot.

I have played around with ‘rocker cards’ as they are soo much fun! I decided the mini slim cards in this kit would make perfect ‘rocker cards’! Take a look at how adorable –

I stands taller than 4 1/4″, this is 5 1/2″ tall. Since this card is square, it is more postage.

I played around with other components in the kit, but this was my favorite. All these images are just too sweet!

To make this, I used the Deckled Circles Dies to cut the round base. That is the only other supplies I added to the kit!

The back of the card looks neat and clean too –

I am featuring this card on my February Card Buffet this weekend. I think it will be a total hit! Don’t you agree?

Crafty Collaborations November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop

Hello Stampers!

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop with lots of great alternative ideas using the November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Warm Wishes.

This kit coordinates with lasts month kit and it is gorgeous to say the least! Here is a picture of the full kit –

Since these are generously sized at about 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. I created a stand alone gift card holder –

Opened, you see how the gift card fits into the card –

I added some Fine-Tip Glue along the side roof edges and a magnetic closure and that was it!

Tip for using these tiny tiny strong magnets – I get two magnets together and mark the side to be glued with a permanent marker. Seperate the two. Glue each one. Let dry. Close card using the magnets!

These are just the cutest gift card holders and I will feature them at my Giftables Class in December. These are sure to be a hit!

Hello Stampers!

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop with lots of great alternative ideas using the September 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit, With Love & Gratitude.

Here are the contents of the kit –

The kit make 8 treat bags and 8 small cards.

I took one of the cards and one of the bags to make 2 cards. I only added additional card bases, and a different color ink, creating these –

I was inspired by a challenge put out by Stampin’ Up for September –

I love these type of sketches! Simple, to show off the products!

I created a vertical card using a Copper Clay card base –

And, a horizontal card using a Pecan Pie base –

With the leftover pieces, I made my annual Gratitude Journal too!

I don’t have the markers yet to make the dots. . . . . .

All the sentiments use Copper Clay ink. Which project is your favorite?

Last weekend, I had a Gift Card Holder Class to wrap up last minute gifts! Here is one of the adorable items we made –

A cute snowmans gift card holder! I used the Gifts Galore Paper Pumpkin kit to create him.

Remove his hat to hold the special gift –

Always got to have a place to write the greetings!

2021 Christmas

Christmas wishes to you and yours!

Sharing my cards I sent this year –

I used the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin, Peaceful Christmas.

I cut up one of the card fronts to create these.

And just combined the elements from both cards to create these.

My ‘intent’ was to stretch the kit and use the other parts to create more cards. I did good to make and send the ones I did! Lol.

And here are a few handmade ones I received –

Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop

Welcome to a Crafty Collaborations blog hop!

I am so happy to be joining everyone today.

We have soo many ideas on how to make the most of the recent September Paper Pumpkin Kit, Haunts & Harvest!

I decided to go with a harvest card using the stamps in the kit and colors from the treat holders in the kit –

I stamped the leaves in a wreath pattern using the Stamparatus. Such a fun technique! I did this with veins in the leaves as well.

The sentiment is also from the kit as well, stamped in Soft Suede.

The really nifty item on this card is the curls I made from one of the wrapped wire pieces in the kit –

This kit itself is awesome. These stamps are just as awesome!

I am looking forward to doing more with this kit!

Happy Monday!

We have a new inspiration at Atlantic Hearts Design Challenge today! Here is something to get your creativity going –

Such fun! I decided to pull out my May 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit, Batter Up for this week –

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription kit that you get in the mail monthly. It includes everything you need to make the project listed : stamp set, ink spot(s), card bases, dies cuts, embellishments, adhesive, dimensionals, directions – everything to complete the project for that month!

Here is how I combined the sketch and this kit –

This card is perfect for all you baseball fans!

I added a Basic White card base, a Real Red layer, some dies and ink and that is it for this kit!

The stars are die cut from kit components using the Give It A Whirl Dies! You have to check these out –

So many great pieces in this set!

The ‘brown’ circle / wreath was cut using the Layering Circles Dies and one of the card bases from the kit.

The baseball was included as well as the ‘All Star’ stamp. I stamped it in Pacific Point, although Night of Navy came with the kit.

Fun Fold Fridays – Step Out Panel Card

Happy Friday!

Playing with paper as usual! Today, it is Fun Folds!

More specific, a Step Out Panel Card. I made two of each style –

I used the April 2021 Paper Pumpkin, So Cool! I did add some card stock to create each card base!

This picture does not show the included stamp set and Bermuda Bay in spot.

Here, the card base is Old Olive. The pattern paper on all the cards are from the envelopes, the inside liners!

This base is Bermuda Bay. The sentiment circles and flagged strips were in the kit too!

This wider style is soo sweet! Here, this base is soon-to-retire In Color, Terracotta Tile*.

And, here a newer In Color, Bumblebee!

Basic instructions for this beauty are –

card base, 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 3″, 4″
front panel, 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″
as you can see the base is folded around to create a box
the insert in front is adhered under the pattern paper and on the front of the pattern paper on the back

Basic instructions for this beauty are –

card base, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4″
scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 3″, 4″
front panel here was more narrow, 1″ x 4″, scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″

Both cards I used Tear & Tape to adhere together. The pattern paper was 1/4″ less than the area I covered. I did trial and error to makes these. Although, I know there are tutorials and videos available for this fold.

Additionally, these cards fold flat to fit into a standard sized envelope!

Previously, I made a card similar here. It has more dimensions too! Lol!

Such a fun and alternative way to create with the So Cool April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit!

Fun Fold Fridays – Bouquet of Hope

Happy Friday!

I’m back this week with another sweet, easy fold fold! Although, I have no idea what this fold is called!

Here is the lovely card –

I used the kit contents of the February 2021 Paper Pumpkin, Bouquet of Hope for this card. I only added the Layering Circle Dies, everything else is from the kit!

As you open the card –

And then again –

I left this blank because I am not sure what type of sentiment I’d like to use here. I’d stamp it under the circle when I do.

This is all the goodies that were included in the kit –

The base is a card from the kit.

The circle is from another card base cut with the Layering Circle Dies. Convenient how the other base is Rococo Rose on the outside and white on the inside! I cut two of the larger, outer circles.

The pattern strip is part of the base from another card. It measures 1″ x 4 1/4″. It is adhered to the base of the card with Tear & Tape because of all the movement.

For the flowers in the circle, I used three of the included flower dies to make the arrangement.

This type card can be made with any products. I thought this was a great way to showcase this Paper Pumpkin for the month of February! What do you think?

Happy Wednesday!

Playing with the February 2021 Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin again today.

I created a simple, elegant card –

I know, that looks soo easy! And, well, it was sort of.

Designing a simple card is the hard part.

The first card I made with this large, thin, sentiment sticker was a disaster! I was was all crooked and look like a drunk wrote it. Sooooo, I got to thinking…….

I have used Press’n Seal when crafting before, so it’d be perfect here! It sure was!

I literally held the sticker up to different backgrounds trying to get the right look. All in all, simple was best for me!

The only thing I added to the kit this month was a different color of ink. I also went from a traditional opening card to this gate fold by adding different score lines.

Happy ~~Saturday~~ **Galentine’s Day!

Perfect time to share the love for my friends!

Typically, **Galentine’s Day is celebrated today, February 13th, but I celebrated it with my friends last Tuesday.

We meet on Zoom, played Bingo, made cards and had breakfast snacks. Take a look at the spread –

Such cute items for everyone!

It started with the card –

I used pieces and parts of the Sending Hearts January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit to create the whole spread! Including this card!

And, I added some card stock, along with the kits for the rest –

Snacks. Everyone loves a great snack. Since **Galentine’s Day was a brunch originally, I went with Belgian ‘Waffle’, (chocolate) strawberries, because we should eat more ‘fruit’, lol, and coffee!

You can see how the coffee fits into its little holder here.

I used the Little Love Boxes Add-Ons for the strawberry and coffee holder.

**Galentine’s Day comes from the tv show Parks & Recreation from back in 2010. It became a tradition for women to celebrate their friendship with other women! She hosted a brunch and served breakfast foods and gave gifts.

You might know what I’ve been playing with…..

The Sending Hearts January 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit!

Here is this wonderful kit –

These are just a couple of the items I’ve created the past few days.

I used my favorite layouts for both of these.

For this one, I fussy cut the mailbox from the kit. I added the Petal Pink card base, Poppy Parade layer, and the Pool Party layer.

This one I just added a Basic White base, Basic Black layer, Poppy Parade layer, and a Pool Party Layer. Everything else is from the kit!

I did color the hearts with a permanent marker. It added a nice *pop* on the card.

One both cards, the Pool Party layer was embossed with the Stitched With Whimsy dies. Soo sweet!

We Create – Crisp Creases

Happy FIRST day of 2021!!!

This year just has to be better!

And, what better way to start the year off than with a second afternoon blog hop!?!?!

Our theme is Crisp Creases, which to me implies a fun fold! And who doesn’t love a good fun fold!?

I tried my hand at a Theater or Stage card for welcoming in the New Year. I used the December 2020 paper Pumpkin, Beary Comforting for the project.

Here, the card is closed –

And, see it opened –

Isn’t this THE cutest??? These little koalas looked as though they could hug so I mimicked that in the card! Only to reveal the welcoming of the New Year in Gold Foil!

This is an adorable kit for December (January will ship towards the end of the month).

To create my card, I literally looked at 10 or so different tutorials for ‘Theater Card’ until I found one that was easily explained. For me, it was by Debbie Henderson.

The card folds flat to mail –

Although it looks high, it will go flatter. It sprung up to take the picture. It is a standard 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ sized card flat.

As the card pieces in the front slide away they reveal the inside message. From the top, here is what the card looks like. Notice all the dimension?

You can also see it here when the card is placed on its back. This is where you’d write your greeting or message.

What do you think? Quite cool right? And some very crisp creases needed for this!

Happy Holidays Gingerbread

Happy day!

Any day creating is a happy day!

I ran across this idea from CAS(E) This Sketch today and thought perfect time to play!

I pulled out the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin, Jolly Gingerbread to create this –

The kit is very sweet in that it makes little gift card holders. Just look at all the contents! Wow!

But sometimes we want a card! So that is what I did! I added a Blushing Bride card base and So Saffron rectangle creating an adorable card!

Everything else is from the kits as you can see! Pretty cute, huh?
