Happy FIRST day of 2021!!!
This year just has to be better!
And, what better way to start the year off than with a second afternoon blog hop!?!?!
Our theme is Crisp Creases, which to me implies a fun fold! And who doesn’t love a good fun fold!?
I tried my hand at a Theater or Stage card for welcoming in the New Year. I used the December 2020 paper Pumpkin, Beary Comforting for the project.

Isn’t this THE cutest??? These little koalas looked as though they could hug so I mimicked that in the card! Only to reveal the welcoming of the New Year in Gold Foil!
This is an adorable kit for December (January will ship towards the end of the month).
To create my card, I literally looked at 10 or so different tutorials for ‘Theater Card’ until I found one that was easily explained. For me, it was by Debbie Henderson.
The card folds flat to mail –
Although it looks high, it will go flatter. It sprung up to take the picture. It is a standard 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ sized card flat.
As the card pieces in the front slide away they reveal the inside message. From the top, here is what the card looks like. Notice all the dimension?
You can also see it here when the card is placed on its back. This is where you’d write your greeting or message.
What do you think? Quite cool right? And some very crisp creases needed for this!
