Some awesome items to choose from I’d say! My favorite would have to be the punches!

I featured the Songbird Builder Punch in a sweet Valentine birdhouse fold.

When opened, the card looks like this –

To create the house, the base is 3 3/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″, roof is 3″ x 3″, then cut on the diagonal making the points 4 1/4″. That is the width of a standard card.

I simply decorated the house from here using the lattice from the Organic Beauty Dies for the house part. The roof was created using the scallop portions from the Marigold Moments Dies.

No sentiment is needed as this card has love written all over it! And, it is just as cute as can be!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

I got a little creative with this one –

I ran with the idea of ‘layering’. I started by adding the lattice layer on the base. It is from the Organic Beauty Dies.

Next, I stamped hearts in the open spaces. That was fun and easy. The simple card looked great at that point, but I decided to take it a bit further. The hearts, as well as the sentiment, are from the Love For You Bundle.

The sentiment was placed on a piece of the Vellum Basics. I chose the leaf pattern. I just love how this turned out.

Favorite New Stamp Set with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Since we just got a new catalog at the beginning of the month, our theme this week is favorite stamp set.

It was really hard to narrow it down, but, I am so drawn to the Marigold Moments Bundle!

Look how stunning –

I did tweak the design a bit creating an elegant vase of flowers instead of the traditional flowers and stems. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the flower bunch.

The vase? It is from the Share A Milkshake Dies! Pretty clever I’d say!

The background really sets this card off. You won’t regret purchasing the Organic Beauty Dies just for this die. I’ve used it soo much.

Christmas Wishes

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!

Thank you for joining our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current layout challenge –

I do love Thanksgiving quite a bit, but I went with a Christmas card today –

….and a fancy one at that!

For this card, I started with creating the wreath. I had all these scraps from making Thanksgiving cards using the Autumn Bouquet Dies. I used Stampin’ Blends to color them and instantly I had the pieces for a Christmas Wreath!

I felt the wreath needed something to stunning to match it. I chose this background die from the Organic Beauty Dies. It is perfect, especially in Gold Foil.

Lastly, this banner for the sentiment was the finishing touch this card needed.

True Friend

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I created a sweet, floral card –

I love how beautiful the True Beauty bundle really is! For the main flowers here, I inked up in Orchid Oasis and stamped on a piece of scrap paper, then stamped again for these flowers before dies cutting them. It made this nice light color.

The flowers peeking in the back were stamped and die cut full Orchid Oasis. Makes a nice pop of vivid color behind the lighter flowers.

My card base is Very Vanilla for a softer look. The diamond background is die cut in Basic White. I like how it just highlights it. Honestly, this is exactly why I bought this dies set. This is a favorite die of mine.

Since the colors are somewhat subtle, this Orchid Oasis Metallic Ribbon is a nice pop! Sentiment is from the same stamp set. However, the tag is from the Tailor Made Tags. A great must have set of dies!

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Parakeet Party & Tahitian Tide

Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features the new In Color combination of Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide!

I decided on a nice spring-time card –

So pretty, right?!?! I am in love with this lattice die cut from the Organic Beauty Dies. It is so clean!

I love how theses flowers stamp. Such a nice cluster!

I used the Stampratus to stamp the two images to get a nice, cleanly stamped image. Tip : using the Stamparatus, stamp the flower cluster first, then lay the leaves on top to get a great alignment, then pick up the stamp with your Stamparatus plate and stamp using ink.

The sentiment was also from the same stamp set. I used the Stylish Shapes to die cut it after stamping. This, is a must have set of dies!

This card is fresh and fun with the new colors and stamps!
