Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I created a whimsical Santa card with this layout –

I always make some sort of Santa card every year. This offset gatefold made for a very cute one this year!

…..and this pattern from the Take A Bow Designer Series Paper is just the sweetest!

Santa’s belt is simply a punched Modern Oval shape in Silver Foil with a strip of Basic Black through the center.

Our theme this week is the traditional colors of Christmas. To me, it is red and green –

I used the pattern paper, Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper. I love how both sides of this pattern are wonderful! Here, you can see both sides of the paper –

It is actually a pocket for a gift card, or a picture, or even a flat gift item! Pretty nifty!

Welcome stampers!

Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features Christmas greenery or trees.

I am a tree girl, so trees for me!

I love how this pattern from the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper lines up nicely with the tree. This tree is from the Merriest Trees Dies.

For added texture, I tried the new Real Red Two-Tone Card Stock, embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I used a small sanding block to show the white core.

The sentiment is trimmed to resemble a tree skirt or tree base. The adorable twine is tied in a triple bow, furthering the dimension of this card.

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

Of course I went with a fall theme –

But I added a little something to this simple stamping. After inking up the leaf stamp and stamping twice before repeating in a different color to fill the page, I used a Blender Pen to give each leaf and hint of color!

I used all three colors in the challenge to stamp the leaves.

I chose this sentiment with the last word removed to use as a table card for Thanksgiving. It fit nicely into the stitched shape from the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Of course I had to add this ribbon – it is a favorite of mine!

Favorite Aug – Dec 2024 Christmas Bundle

Our theme this week features our favorite Christmas bundles.

Obviously, there are several great Christmas bundles in the August – December 2024 Mini catalog. I was really drawn to this One of a Kind Bundle –

I love all the versatile sentiments that are included as well. I stamped this one, using the Labeled With Love Punch. It can be for Christmas, or other occasions.

I love how I finished off the inside, simple. The addition of the snowflake really took the inside up a notch.

The pattern paper I chose is Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper. I love the white, blue, and green snowflakes!

The coordinating dies are two snowflakes, an outer border, plus an inner intricate snowflake. This bundle is one of the least expensive bundles too – that also makes it a favorite!

Did you notice this ribbon behind the sentiment? Oh my – it is just spectacular. It is the Pool Party 5/8″ Pompom Ribbon. Just buy it – you’ll see what I mean!

Merry Christmas

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I’ve had this Winterly Tree Tops Bundle for a long time and this was a great sketch to use it!

Funny thing – I pulled out the paper to create this, choosing the branch and the dotted strip. I liked this bird and cut it by hand from the pattern of birds. I laid it all out deciding I needed some pine sprigs for a Christmas look.

It was then I realized I could have cut the bird with dies instead of hand cutting it! That ever happen to you?

I added the pine sprigs, berries, and sentiment.

I thought I was done. Then I realized I needed the bow and strip. This came from the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit and was just perfect! Another reason these kits are great! All the terrific supplies.

I created a simple beauty today –

I love sunflowers, especially for fall. Although we really don’t have any sunflower dies, I decided to create my own.

For these, I used the Bright Skies Dies. They made pretty sunflowers paired with the greenery and pot from the Country Flowers Dies.

I placed the focal point on a piece of pattern paper, Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper.

This lovey sentiment from Hope You Know was the perfect simple sentiment!

Absolutely perfect Christmas colors for the Sweetest Star Bundle –

This is one of my favorite bundles! Simply adorable. I paired it with the pattern paper, Take a Bow Designer Series Paper.

This layout is fun and showcases this gingerbread well.

These Real Red & White Adhesive Backed Peppermints just made the cutest buttons! The Garden Green bow ties all the colors together.

Our theme this week is fall trees!

I used the Autumn Expressions stamp for this beautiful card –

I had fun just stamping for this card! I stamped the leaves randomly for my starting point. I added the stamped wheat below the sentiment. I then decided the card base needed something so I stamped that to!

To give the sentiment more umph, a loop of ribbon and some sprigs made all the different!

This ‘fall tree’ card will be featured on my Card Buffet this weekend. I am sure it will be a hit!

…..with cats of course! I just love these cats and altering them in more realistic cat positions! Typically, loafing! Or swinging the tail because they are annoyed. Or, the ‘I’m about to pounce’ look, lol,

I am also in love with this Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper! I just had to use it again, at least another pattern – these books!

I really like fun Halloween cards. Black cats and a great pattern paper are it for me!

Really, what makes it cutesy is the Pretty in Pink card base! And, maybe the ‘loafing’ cats! Not very scary, are they? Lol!

I’m Grateful For You

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

Perfect fall colors!

It took me a couple of attempts to get this lovely fall leaf background using the Caring Leaves stamp set. It is a two-step stamp that stamps light and dark, beautifully! I added tiny light dots from the Snowy Wonder set in between the flowers to fill in the space.

However, once I finished it, I didn’t know how to use it! Ever have those days?

I went with a simple sentiment across the bottom that wouldn’t cover up too much.

It still needed something. Then I remembered the Jute Trim. That was it. Just a simple wrap around piece simply tied. I am happy with the finished card!

Simple stamping is not always so simple!

Halloween Magic

Our theme this week is magical Halloween cards!

Is this magical? Well, I think it is. Just look at this spooky, creepy sky! It was created using only a sheet of Designer Series Paper! Perfect if you need a quick spooky card (that looks way more difficult), or are water color challenged! Either works!

To add to my Halloween setting, the Humble Home Builder Punch was the perfect addition!

…and, as if you didn’t know it was a Halloween card, the sentiment ties in the Berry Burst card stock base!

I featured this card as one of the selections in my September Card Buffet and it was a total hit! It proves that card making doesn’t have to be that difficult to be stunning!

Our theme this week is pretty fall colors, or in my case, pretty elegant fall colors!

Isn’t this a beauty?

Where do I start?

I embossed Gold Foil with the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder. This folder also comes with dies, so I cut some leaves out and a strip for my sentiment too!

This sentiment says it all. So much so, I decided to add a vellum die cut heart behind it.

To compliment the gold, this Wild Wheat card base did the trick. The diamond pattern is also foiled as well.

All the textures are are just so wonderful here. All the textures of fall!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

Some of my favorite colors!

I did some simple stamping making some whimsical flowers –

I used various stamps creating these flowers. This is a solid circle, sunburst, and part of a rainbow – all from the Happiest Day stamp set!

Even the sentiment is from the stamp set.

It was very difficult to capture in photos, but the three dots on the card are the Poppy Parade embellishments from the Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs. So pretty in person!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I was feeling a bit nostalgic –

Simply sweet! I started with the pattern paper, Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper. I love this stripe pattern and this stocking filled with goodies.

I hand cut the stocking, but dies are available to make that an easier job!

Since I did not have the coordinating bundle, this Be Merry from the Christmas Labels stamp set was the perfect matching font for this paper!

I was thrilled when I ran across this Garden Green thread from the Natural Tones Linen Thread! The card needed a little something and this was it!
