You Mean So Much To Me

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Texture

I decided that texture would come from this soon-to-retire Country Floral 3-D Embossing Folder (bonus, it’s mark down!) because it ‘s just soo pretty!

I placed it on a piece of Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper, also on retiring and on sale.

The sentiment is from the coordinating Forever Blossoms stamp set which will carry over in the new catalog.

A very elegant card with lots of meaning,

Best Dressed Floral Birthday

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I flipped through the Best Dressed 6×6 Designer Series and I was drawn to this lovely, bold floral Blackberry Bliss flower pattern. That was my starting point…

Then I chose a coordinating pattern from the same pack.

I cut the two pieces the sizes I needed and realized that I like the flip side pattern better! So the card became quite a mix of florals!

Soft Sea Foam compliments both patterns and creates such a soft, feminine card.

My sentiment is from the Dressed to Impress stamp set and I used the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies to cut it out.

I love this card. Sweet. Floral. Feminine.

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I have been really wanting to use this small rose pattern from the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. It doesn’t look ‘Christmasy’. This will be available November 1st.

I finally did used it for a non Christmas card –

This lovely sentiment is from Bloom & Grow. It’s stamped in Merry Merlot on Blushing Bride. It fit perfectly in the the large shape from the Wild Rose Dies.

The circle of flowers was cut from the Layering Circles Dies. The flower and leaf was fussy cut.

Everything was placed on a Blushing Bride Country Floral embossed panel.

This is just soo pretty! And, it’s not Christmas!

Here is the rest of the beautiful paper pack. It’ll be available November 1st.

Floral Welcoming

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest catalog CASE challenge –

This was a really fun one!

I sort of went with a literal copy of this card only with stamps –

My featured stamp set I used was Floral Essence. I chose it because it had two stamps that faced in different directions, like the catalog card.

I used three colors for the flowers and colored the centers in Daffodil Delight Blends.

After cutting the flowers out and getting an arrangement I liked, I placed them on a folded strip of Daffodil Delight to resemble ribbon.

The leaves came last. They were stamped twice before re-inking. Punched using the Leaf Punch and placed behind the flowers.

The ‘welcome’ comes from the Well Written Dies, a must have for all the wonderful words.

Country Belated Birthday

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

I decided to play around with the inking of an embossing folder again.

Here, I used So Saffron card stock and So Saffron ink along with the Country Floral embossing folder.

I inked up the inside of the folder that has the black line and black Stampin’ Up! logo. I placed the card stock on the other side of the folder, then closed it and ran it through the Big Shot. So pretty! And, a different look using the same color ink as card stock.

I added a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays. From time to time we are late sending out birthday cards. We need these kind of cards too!

Got a great new sketch for you today!

Great opportunity to use a new Sale-a-Bration folder that will be available Friday, February 15th! It’s called Country Floral.

Isn’t this folder just gorgeous???? And, I’m only showing a portion of it!!

It’s a really simply created card following the sketch. The sentiment and hearts are cut using the Well Written Framelits (a must have!!) in Silver Foil.
