Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features summer themed cards.

Besides the incredible heat and humidity here in south Texas, we also grow refreshing watermelons throughout the state! It inspired me!

I created this adorable watermelon using the Countryside Corners Dies and the Dots & Spots Die. Isn’t this just so refreshing!?!? I love how bright and fun it is!

The addition of the (on sale) Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper and the Lemon Lolly card base – you have summer on a card!

Fun Fact : Watermelons are Texas’ largest annual horticultural crop. Over 42,000 acres are grown throughout Texas in over 100 counties.

I had fun with this layout using some retiring supplies –

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our newest layout to challenge you –

I had such fun with this layout!

And, yes, I used the Christmas Cheer Dies again! Three times here!

I started with a piece of 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper in Polished Pink on a Very Vanilla card base.

I placed the same color strips on top. I trimmed them after they were adhered down.

I adhered the other die cut panel. Then I placed those three die cuts on a shape from the Stockings Dies.

Lastly, I added why I was so happy! Lol, birthday seemed appropriate for the cheery, fun card!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current layout challenge –

I decided to let a gorgeous paper do all the work on this card –

This is the Expression In Ink Designer Series Paper –

It is just gorgeous in person! The gold accents and veins are just so pretty!

I placed it on one of the Scalloped Contours Dies with just the scallops barely peeking out!

I added strips of Polished Pink, Shaded Spruce, and Gold Foil behind the focal point. I thought the different colors added interest.

The sentiment is from the coordinating, Artistically Inked stamp set –

I love the simplicity of this!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

We are switching up our challenges a bit to sketches from the new catalog –

Then, we recreate it!

So stunning! Perfect bag for a wedding ot to welcome a little girl!

I embossed my Polished Pink Ombre Gift Bag using the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder.

For my focal image, I used the Artistically Inked Bundle along with the Scallop Contours Dies, I just trimmed away the top and sides! It created a nice little tag! I’ll use the scalloped scraps another time!

The polka dot paper peeking around is from the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper.

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features cards with lots of glitz and glam!

Glitz and glam is not my forte, but, I’ll try –

Pretty gorgeous if I do say so myself!

I started with die cutting this beautiful flower arrangement from the Artistic Dies which is part of the Artistically Inked bundle –

I used the gorgeous Love You Always Foil Sheets*. There are three colors in the pack, they are retiring, and best of all, they are on sale!

I place the pretty detailed die cut on a Very Vanilla scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Contours Dies.

Notice the embossed background? It is the Painted Texture 3D embossing Folder. Embossing folders add such a nice subtle touch.

Such a pretty card!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features cards with textures and ribbons.

Hmm. This was challenged me, lol!

…but not for long, lol!

I started with dies cutting a butterfly using the Ombre 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper because this paper has a glittery texture.

The Brilliant Wings Dies provided the butterfly I used –

I added those to a lovely Polished Pink embossed panel using the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder –

That folder has really nice, deep texture.

The Polished Pink ribbon and sentiment are just the icing on the cake here!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

Light and fresh colors! Love these!

I played around with the Artistically Inked stamp set creating this –

The background is an actual single stamp! I just overlapped it a few times in each of the colors!

I had several samples before I went with this one.

I added the ‘thanks’ in Early Espresso as it is softer than black.

If you look closely at the pictures, I added five of the Genial Gems on the card!

Hello Monday!

We have a new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to get you creating this week!

Great sketch! Perfect for showing off this wonderful new background die –

Yes, I did flip the sketch!

I created this gorgeous background using this new large die, the Stitched Greenery Die –

I added these Polished Pink stamped and die cut watercolor flowers from the Artistically Inked Bundle –

Together, they create such a soft, elegant, gorgeous card!

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, however, I used the die from the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder. Yes, it does contain a set of dies, name is deceiving, lol!

Just soo pretty!
