Happy Saturday or Sunday, depending when you see this!

It’s time for an afternoon hop!

Theme – Sale-a-bration!

I love paper, and who doesn’t, especially when it is free!

It is a toss up with the Sale-a-bration options this year, but I went with the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper –

I create four cards using one of my 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonders –

Gorgeous, right!?

So easy too! I used this pattern here –

This lovely set uses all patterns from the same paper pack! Including the fussy cut flower!

The only this I added was a sentiment from the Penguin Place stamp set! It is a new set, found in the new Mini catalog.

Hello my stampin’ friends! How about another blog hop?

Our theme is Christmas in July!

I have this lovely, new catalog Christmas paper to use, Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper, along with an old favorite, the Snowman Season stamp set, and the Snowman Builder Punch.

I used all these great products to create four cards –

I went with four because this started life as a 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder! I’ll show you later in the post how I cut my paper.

Each card uses all the same elements.

This is a 5″ x 1 1/2″ strip of pattern paper with Cherry Cobbler and Soft Succulent borders.

Here, the 3 strips are 1″ x 3″, the sentiment strip is also 1″ x 3″. All cards have the same sentiment.

These are adorable, aren’t they??

Lastly, this card has four 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares. These little cute snowmen really make the cards!

These are the just sweetest cards made with the supplies I had on hand.

This new Christmas paper I used is in the big Stampin’ Up catalog along with the other supplies. The Cherry Cobbler twine is retired and from my stash of twines – I love baker’s twine!!!

We Create – Pattern Paper Blog Hop

Happy July 1st!

Our theme this month is pattern paper, Designer Series Paper because Stampin’ Up is having a paper sale!!!

So why not show you how to make the most out of a 6″ x 6″ sheet of Designer Series Paper?

Look at these wonderful cards –

I started with a 6″ x 6″ piece of Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper cutting it into 4 pieces that were 3″ x 3″.

From there, I made thee following cuts paying close attention to the pattern on the paper –

Here, this was cut at 1 1/2″, or in half once.

This one is simply 1″ strips, three of them.

The one is 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, so cut in half, rotate, cut in half again.

Lastly, this was cut at 1″, leaving the portion 2″.

All these are on a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Night of Navy card stock. I then layered those on a scalloped panel from the Scallop Contours Dies. The Very Vanilla pieces are 3″ wide by about 1″, adding 1/8″ where needed to fill in the areas.

All the sentiments are from the coordinating stamp set, In Symmetry. Just a great group of cards!

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Blue Bayou

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features all blue cards!

And that is just what I made, a set of all blue cards!

Look at these lovely cards –

I used a 6″ x 6″ piece of the Boho Indigo Product Medley Designer Series Paper and strategically cut it to create 4 cards! I call it a 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder. I have made these before here.

I started with a Misty Moonlight card base for all the cards.

Next, I used a piece of Very Vanilla , 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ to place all the pieces on.

Each sentiment from Happy Thoughts is on a strip of retiring card stock, Seaside Spray, 1″ x 3″, stamped in Misty Moonlight.

For a little added *flair*, I used the Well Suited Twine Combo Pack filling in the off space and adding a bow to each card.

Pretty nice set of blue cards, wouldn’t you agree?

Ornate Garden 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder

Hello my friends!

I’m delving into safe stamping with my stampin’ friends again, from a distance of course! And here is my latest project with them –

Four cards from one 6 x 6 sheet of Designer Series Paper! Here is the way I cut the pieces for a visual –I cut four 3 x 3 squares, then each was cut –

one into 1″ x 3″ strips
one into 1 1/2″ x 3″
one into 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares
and the last one was for the Heart Punch Pack or whatever you want to create with the last square

Here is each card by itself –

This one has 1 1/2″ x 3″ Designer Series Paper strips.

I used the Heart Punch Pack for this one.

Simple 1″ x 3″ strips. And, this one is my favorite!

These are the 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ strips.

All are on a base of 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″. I decided to make them all the same size, however some could have been trimmed down. The sentiment strip is 1″ x 3″.

For all the cards, I used the different sentiments from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. These very quick and easy to put together! I think it took longer to make the cuts then to assemble them!
