Happy Ink Stamp Share Saturday!

Today we are all creating cards using this layout!

I love following layouts!

Here is what I came up with –

Not one, but two adorable cards!

I couldn’t decide….

One for a dog, or one for a cat –

Either way, just as sweet as can be!

For the sentiment, I use three of the same ‘welcome’ die cut glued together to create a 3D, thick embellishment sentiment.

For these two almost identical cards, I used several retiring items –

I can not wait until a friend gets a new fur friend, I’ll have the purfect card for them!

Happy day to you!

I have another bright, cheery card share today inspired by Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and our newest layout –

I had this paper still on my desk and decided to use it again –

I used the Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for my *pop* of color. The gorgeous butterfly is from the new Brilliant Wings Dies –

I’m having soo much fun with these dies! The whole collection is just gorgeous!

The thanks die cut sentiment is from the Well Written Dies. Lots of great words all in one place!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Use up your scraps

I love this idea of using scraps! I have a desk full of them, because, I just might need them no matter how small they are! Lol!

…..and use scraps is just what I did!

From My Heart Designer Series Paper was my go-to here. I have lots of scraps from using up almost 2 packages of this lovely paper!

I placed all those scraps on a gold and white piece from the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper. I lined then up darker on the bottom to lighter towards the top.

The focal heart and the smaller white and gold heart were ones on my desk that I didn’t use on another project. They are both from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

I didn’t have to stamp anything as I used words from the Well Written Dies! Yes, those were on my pile too!

So i wonder what kind of scraps our Design Team has laying around and made cards with?? See those on our Try Stampin’ on Tuesday blog or Facebook page. You can also use some of your scraps play along with our challenge too!

While the game was on, I was creating!

I ran across this sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and was very inspired –

I hadn’t used this wonderful die set, Stitched Be Mine. It was the perfect set for this challenge for me –

I love this!!!!

And, NO stamping involved!

I started by die cutting three rows of hearts and deciding what base they looked best on. Purple Posy won! I then placed that panel on a Blushing Bride base.

I added a nice big vellum heart in the center. Also from the same set of dies. I played around with several different combinations of the inner heart and scallops. This combination was best in tying the colors together.

The Lovely Lipstick words are from the Well Written Dies.

Simple supplies to make a stunning card! What do you think??

I made a thank you card –

Just lovely, right??

I took one of the Gold Foil-Edged Cards and cut apart. I added the foil edge to a Whisper White base. I then added a larger piece of Designer Series Paper. The striped paper is also from the same pack, it is actually the back of this main paper! I used one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut it out.

As you can see, there is no stamping on this card! The Real Red Sentiment comes from the Well Written Dies –

Simply done!

Floral Welcoming

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest catalog CASE challenge –

This was a really fun one!

I sort of went with a literal copy of this card only with stamps –

My featured stamp set I used was Floral Essence. I chose it because it had two stamps that faced in different directions, like the catalog card.

I used three colors for the flowers and colored the centers in Daffodil Delight Blends.

After cutting the flowers out and getting an arrangement I liked, I placed them on a folded strip of Daffodil Delight to resemble ribbon.

The leaves came last. They were stamped twice before re-inking. Punched using the Leaf Punch and placed behind the flowers.

The ‘welcome’ comes from the Well Written Dies, a must have for all the wonderful words.
