I Just Can’t Thank You Enough

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

I pulled out all the card stock colors for this card and funny how I pulled these exact pieces alone!

I thought they needed a little something. I added some simple stamping from the Vine Design stamp set in the same colors.

I stamped the sentiment from the soon to retire, So Sentimental using the Stamparatus and Stampin’ Write Markers to get the two colors! I love being able to do that!

Speaking of retiring, the list came out yesterday. Get your must haves before they are gone!

Luckily, the Vine Design stamp set and Well Suited Twine Combo Pack will be around until June!

I Can’t Thank You Enough

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

Fun colors this week with lots of great inspirations from our Design Team! Here is my take using the colors –

Pretty, pretty. Great option for a masculine thank you card too!

I pulled out the three colors for the sketch. Oddly enough, I pulled this Old Olive, already cut with banner bottom, the Bumblebee rectangle and a Night of Navy circle.

I decided to add a little something something with the Vine Design stamp set in the same colors as the card stock.

For the sentiment, I wanted to fill the circle. I found a nice sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set and pulled out the Stamparatus and the Stampin’ Write Markers to color it in two colors. The Stamparatus is great for this technique.

I finished this off with Well Suited Twine Combo, using the Night of Navy.

Love a great simple sketch like this!

And, add butterflies….winner in my book!

I created a simple monochromatic card today using the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper and the Brilliant Wings Dies.

I stamped the sentiment is from Vine Design on a thin piece of Very Vanilla. I cut it apart to mimic the sketch.

A simply great birthday card!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features a St. Patrick’s Day card!

I combined a few different product for this sweet number –

I started with these ‘shamrocks’ from the Pierced Blooms Dies in Shaded Spruce. I trimmed them up a bit to make them look more like clovers.

I stamped the sentiment border first from the Vine Design stamp set, then the inside greeting from A Wish For Everything. After several stamping attempts, die cutting. Yes, sometimes things take me numerous tries too!

I added all these elements to a black and white piece of True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper that I partially colored with Blends.

Sweet card!

So fun! Here is how I use it –

Quite, nice, right?!?!

I started with the Playing With Patterns 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper –

I’ve had this paper a long and haven’t used it much. It was perfect here. I did slice it up and place it on my card according to the sketch.

The show stopper is this beautiful die cut from the Vine Design Bundle –

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and the border in Calypso Coral. I used the same set of die cuts as well. Such a pretty bundle! Very versatile!

This really simple card design ended up being a quite stunning card.
