Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features a St. Patrick’s Day card!

I combined a few different product for this sweet number –

libbystamps, Stampin' Up!, A Wish For Everything, Vine Design, Vine Design Bundle, Pierced Blooms Dies, Flowering Vine Dies, True Love 12" x 12" DSP, CCMC, Create with Connie and MaryI started with these ‘shamrocks’ from the Pierced Blooms Dies in Shaded Spruce. I trimmed them up a bit to make them look more like clovers.

I stamped the sentiment border first from the Vine Design stamp set, then the inside greeting from A Wish For Everything. After several stamping attempts, die cutting. Yes, sometimes things take me numerous tries too!   

I added all these elements to a black and white piece of True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper that I partially colored with Blends.

So fun! Here is how I use it –

Quite, nice, right?!?!

I started with the Playing With Patterns 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper –

PLAYING WITH PATTERNS 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

I’ve had this paper a long and haven’t used it much. It was perfect here. I did slice it up and place it on my card according to the sketch.

The show stopper is this beautiful die cut from the Vine Design Bundle –

VINE DESIGN BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and the border in Calypso Coral. I used the same set of die cuts as well. Such a pretty bundle! Very versatile!

This really simple card design ended up being a quite stunning card.

Hello March!

The first day of the month always means a blog hop!

Our theme this month is anything ‘cut out’ by die cutting or fussy cutting. I have this covered!

I have included fussy-cutting (hand cutting of shapes), punching, decorative stitching, and die cutting –

So sweet, right?!?!

I love the softness of this card! I used a slew of great items here!

The two show stoppers are the Stitched With Whimsy Dies, a must have –

STITCHED WITH WHIMSY DIES

And, the Flowering Vine Dies in retiring Purple Posy –

FLOWERING VINE DIES

Both are just as sweet as can be, especially when paired with the adorable bunny from the Springtime Joy stamp set –

SPRINGTIME JOY CLING STAMP SET

The sentiment was punched using the new Double Oval Punch. It makes a nice sitting spot for the little bunny!
