Hello my Thursday friends!
You know its time for a Create with Connie and Mary challenge!
This week, we have a new layout –
Took me no time to pull out some soon to retire Stampin’ Up items to create this –
Black and white are always a classic!
I started with creating my focal element, using the Lots of Labels Framelits. The flowers and leaves are from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits. I will so miss both these versatile items!
As I adhered the while flower to the black base, I only added Tombow glue to the center of the flower so it stands away from the base.
The ‘thank you’ is from, also retiring stamp set, Rose Wonder. I inked it up and stamped it three times, not reapplying ink. (Looks like my stamp has some lint on it…..it happens!)
Everything was placed on a piece of Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper, which was adhered to a Whisper White card base.
Quick. Easy. Elegant.
Check out the other Design Team cards at Create with Connie and Mary. I am sure you’ll be inspired! If you’d like to add a card to our challenge, you can do so on our Facebook page.
