Back at the cooler…..
We have a GREAT challenge starting today –
Heidi’s CAS, Clean And Simple Spring challenge. Some struggle with these type. But, really it’s no need to fret. Clean. Simple. That’s it.
Here is what I consider CAS –
Doesn’t get much more clean or much more simple. Half sheet of card stock, it’s one layer. Two stamps. Two inks. Done.
FYI, the ‘hello there’ is from the retired stamp set, Happy Day.
I made a bunch of these too. I recently joined our neighborhood Beautification Committee. It was my first meeting. I thought it’d be a nice surprise to send a little snail mail to show my appreciation for joining the group after we met.
Perhaps some of the ladies would like to learn more about stamping??? We shall see. We will meet monthly and I’m already thinking about a little treat or another card for the next gathering.
This is an easy, simple, clean card that should inspire you on just how easy these cards can be! And, yes, if you follow me, you know this is right up my alley!!
Join the Watercooler Wednesday to see what the other talented team members created with this challenge. And, play along – it’s so much fun!
You should leave a comment too – because comments make bloggers feel good!! It’s also good ‘card-carma’!
Ooh the temptation to colour that rose is so strong! Great card. I used to live in Missouri City, Texas – now back in the UK. Miss you guys!
I know, right! But, I went with a total clean and simple card here! Aw, if you’re ever in the US and are close, you can stop by to stamp with me!!
Hi Libby, leaving you some good “card karma”. Great card.
THANK YOU Heidi! I really appreciate it!
Simple is and simple does! Wonderful card Libby. I really like the simple image of the rose and then the pop of colour for the sentiment. Have fun with your new group, I’m sure they were delighted to receive your cards.
Thank you Penny! When I saw a few of them, they were wowed that I made the card. I told them, “I can show you how…….”
