Slowly getting back into creating and blogging. Between working a part-time job, helping others with recovery needs, my own moving of stuff and a retired husband home – sometimes hard to find my creative time! I’ll get there. I know.
Good thing about challenges. Commitment. So, I have to create! Works for me!
Today, I got busy for Watercooler Wednesday!
We have our usual round of challenges. Today, it’s hosted by Judy –
These are probably our core in card making! Women love handmade things, especially cards!
I had packed these particular new items up a couple of weeks ago (wow, that long already?!?!) in preparation for Harvey, and, of course misplaced them when I went to put them back!
But, alas, I found what I was looking for and created this –
It’s a new product in Stampin Up’s holiday Holiday mini catalog called the Quilt Builder Framelits! Name is very fitting I’d say! It’s paired with a Christmas set. Clearly these framelits are not exclusively Christmas.
All these colors work nicely too! This is going to be a favorite set of mine I think! It paired well with the Happy Birthday font from the Rose Wonder stamp set.
As a tip if you own this framelit set, as you make your quilt die cuts, save the inside unused quilt pieces for future use! You’ll have enough pieces for a new scrap quilt in no time!
Alright. Check out the other Design Team cards at Watercooler Wednesday this week. Take time to link up a card too!

Wow Libby I’m amazed that you were able to participate in this week’s challenge, but delighted. What a great card. I’ve been sitting on the fence about that combo set but you make it look so fabulous in your card. Great colour combo too. Thanks for sharing.
I love the challenges Penny – getting back into them helped to create a normalcy for me which I needed!
