Welcome to our first Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge of 2021!

Here is our newest challenge –

What a great sketch! I made a template for each layer so I wouldn’t waste any paper trying to figure out! And, I didn’t!

Here is what I came up with –

It is soo pretty! I used the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. You can earn it free during Sale-a-bration.

I used the new, lovely Sweet Strawberry stamp set for the sentiment and the flower centers. The pretty daisies are from the Medium Daisy Punch.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

I decided to try my creative skills using both –

I just love how they two paired so well together!

My focal point / sentiment is from the new Happiest of Birthday stamp set stamped in Early Espresso.

I thought the largest diamond shape from the Stitched Nested Labels was nice to cut the sentiment from.

I added a Medium Daisy, cut in half at each point. The center is a 1/2″ Circle Punch in Soft Suede.

I placed that on a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. This pack has a bunch of wood looks, textiles and tile patterns in neutral colors. It is quite nice!

I can not wait to send this card out! I wonder who will be the lucky recipient??

Our theme this week features our favorite retiring stamp set.

I have used this Perennial Birthday stamp set numerous times. It is an all time favorite of mine. I hope to find another favorite like this in the upcoming new catalog.

I have incorporated several retiring items to join the pity party here –

Where do I begin????

I love making sunflowers using this scallop circle embossed with the Eyelet Lace folder. It makes the centers look soo real.

These leaves from the Leaf Punch make a great variety of projects as well as numerous leaves for flowers.

And, you can never go wrong with gingham paper no matter the color.

I copied the layout and the colors a bit –

I am enjoying playing around with the Daisy Lane Bundle. Here, I combined it with the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

All these colors are very serene and refreshing. Great for a traditional daisy!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

Such bright cheery colors! Perfect for using the new Daisy Lane bundle!

These are just free and fun!

The flowers were simply done.

I punched the flowers out of solid card stock. I stamped the top petals in both colors and punched them out, adding them to the top of the solid color flower stack.

Lastly, adding the 1/2″ centers in Daffodil Delight.

The sentiment was also from the same stamp set and punched once from the Timeless Label punch, then the circles came from the Detailed Trio punch – perfect for running ribbon through.

The offset focal image adds a touch of whimsey. It is nice with these flowers and bright colors.
