Today is a special day for me in the Stampin’ Up world – it’s my 10th Anniversary!
Yep. That’s right. 10 years ago I signed up as a demonstrator and got the free box of ink pads – my choice of color family! And, back then it was like a $55 value. The rest, history, lol!
Of course, I had to find the energy to make myself a card –
Whoop! Whoop!
It was a simple design, but the tricky part was adding the little charms on the twine. Mini Dimensionals to the rescue!
I’m going to hate to take it apart though……I added James Avery Charms for a little bling. My gift to myself for the 10 years!
My other ‘job’ has been at this jewelry store close to my home. Between the stamps and jewelry – I never have any money!!

Speaking of work, got to get ready. Our store received no water damage from the storm, however, our AC has been out since we’ve been back. The temperatures are excruciating!! There are close to 90 degrees with 85% humidity. (I know, WHY are we even open…?????). If you’re from Texas, you’ll understand just what that feels like. Those in other parts don’t understand just how hot a Texas hot is!

They lost everything in the floods from Harvey. She alway brought her mom with her and I’d give her a warmed blanket as my friend stamped. We went last Saturday to help her pack what we could : clothes, personal items and even salvaged some of her stamp supplies, but, we also throw out most of the contents of her home. Please consider helping me, support her.
