Wahoo! It’s Friday!
I’ve been playing around with paper and framelits again! This time, I was inspired by Freshly made Sketches –
When I saw this sketch, I immediately thought of a banana split –
So, I created one out of framelits! It is just darling!
I used the Call Me Cupcake icing shape for the ‘chocolate’, ‘vanilla’ and ‘strawberry’ ice cream scoops!
The banana is the largest Layering Ovals Framelits, cut twice. I cut one oval, then moved the framelit over to cut a portion or sliver of the oval creating a ‘banana shape’.
I also used the cupcake pedestal from the Call Me Cupcake framelits to create the bowl base. I placed on top a strip of Gray Granite to resemble a bowl. I used the Detailed Trio to round the corners, creating a more bowl-like shape.
**If you love these framelits, I suggest you purchase them now! They are a Sale-a-bration coordinating item thats available only while quantities last or until the end of the month. The Hop Around Framelits that coordinate with the So Hoppy Together stamp set have already sold out and are no longer available.
