Crafty Challenge – Snowflake Wishes

Happy Wednesday!

How about a mid-week blog hop?

Of course this is a layout challenge – you know I love those!

I am playing with holidays this week. For this, I am back to Christmas!

So pretty! Pretty easy too! I used the Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper, Peaceful Prints –

Simply beautiful!

My favorite part is the pretty snowflake. It is large and it is iridescent. Hard to tell in the photo.

The stamp set is a returning favorite from last holiday time, Snowflake Wishes. It fits this card perfectly!

Welcome Monday!

How about a new challenge from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to start your week off creativity!?!?

Here is our latest sketch to work from –

I love these type sketches. This one will go into my ‘go-to’ Pinterest board!

I used some Christmas Sale-a-bration paper for my card today. It’s the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper –

Here is how I used it –

So cute, right?

And, the deer on the front is cut out with a punch from the paper! The Deer Builder Punch –

He is already ready for you to punch out!

I added the sentiment from Words of Cheer stamp set –

The image I used is in the upper right. Since it is clear, I was able to see what I was inking up and and just inked the ‘Happy Christmas’ part before stamping it.

Happy Saturday my stampin’ friends!

(If you’re a subscriber, this is the second hop of three for the day!)

It is time again!

We are sharing anything we are working on! And, I’ working on cards for my August Card Buffet!

Look at this sweetness!

I started with the Sale-a-bration paper, Penguin Playmates. It is free with a $50 (USD) purchase before tax and shipping!

It is soo cute as it has a coordinating bundle, the Penguin Place Bundle. It is a stamp set and an adorable punch!

I made some simple cuts that really can be arranged in a variety of ways to create a cute card.

The penguin is from the paper too – no work to create him! Although, to make more, I could have stamped him.

The sweet sentiment is from the same stamp set as well. It stamps nice, crisp and clear to be so little!

Notice the petite Calypso Coral balloons? Those are from the Sheep Dies! Also, a Sale-a-bration option!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Time for another 2 week sketch challenge –

Optional Theme : Inspired by a Book or Movie

I did not incorporate the optional theme……but, I did create this pretty card –

This week I’m featuring the Detailed Pumpkins Dies –

This card is perfect for Halloween or Thanksgiving or just for someone who loves pumpkins!

For the base for the pumpkins, I used the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper –

It’s a free option with Sale-a-bration! I have really enjoyed this pattern paper and have made many cards with it!

I think this is a nice combination. Don’t you?

It’s time for an afternoon hop!

Theme – Sale-a-bration!

I love paper, and who doesn’t, especially when it is free!

It is a toss up with the Sale-a-bration options this year, but I went with the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper –

I create four cards using one of my 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonders –

Gorgeous, right!?

So easy too! I used this pattern here –

This lovely set uses all patterns from the same paper pack! Including the fussy cut flower!

The only this I added was a sentiment from the Penguin Place stamp set! It is a new set, found in the new Mini catalog.

This is the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set, well bundle –

It sure makes for a simply lovely card!

I did a simple tone on tone set of pumpkins, placing them on a neutral pattern of Designer Series Paper from the Peaceful Prints –

The sentiment is nice too!

Fun Fold Fridays – Double Pocket Card

Happy Friday!

Time for another great Fun Fold!

This week I am using a fabulous black and white print from Sale-a-bration, the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper –

This can be yours FREE with a $50 (USD) order!

Look at this nifty card I made –

It uses only half a sheet of Designer Series Paper! I know you’ve got lots of pattern paper you’ve been hoarding!!! Lol!

The Designer Series Paper is 5 1/4″ x 11 3/4″, scored at 1 3/4″, 4 3/4″, and 7 3/4″. Accordion folded. Adhere to a base of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.

It has two pieces that slide in each side!

The Polished Pink, left, is 3 1/8″ x 4 1/4″. This side would be perfect to add a gift card! You could adhere with a glue dot!

The Basic White, right, is 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I added a strip of color along the back edge to tie in the color.

Really sweet, huh? I did fussy cut the flower from one of the patterns in the paper. It made a nice a focal point.

The sentiment stamps super neat and clean. It is from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set.

I think I’ll feature this Fun Fold on my next Card Buffet!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

I decided to make a sweet little baa-by card –

Don’t ewe thinking this is just adorable?

The sentiment is from the Hippo Happiness stamp set. It coordinates well with a few ‘ewe’ sayings.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Time for a fabulous sketch challenge –

Optional Theme : Ocean

Well, no ocean today! However, I do have this lovely though –

It’s a book fold card! I’ve done these a few times as they are soo much fun!

The left side is adhered closed.

I used the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Sale-a-bration Paper for this card. Yes, you can earn it for FREE until the end of September!

The sentiment is from the returning, Snowflake Wishes stamp set, you might recognize it!

I think these book fold cards are the neatest!

I grabbed some retired ribbon from my stash. This color and size makes the card look quite elegant.

Since these are soo easy, I’ll whip up a few more to have on hand as the holidays approach!

Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday and to our Silver to Silver Elite Blog Hop!

I have a special treat because today you will see LOTS of fun folds! It’s a Fun Fold Friday Frenzy!!! Lol!

Get in your comfy chair, grab your favorite drink, a snack, pen and paper, and be prepared to pin some ideas and take some notes!

I am sharing an oldie, but goody, Pull Out Fun Fold –

And, when it’s opened –

Isn’t this just adorable??

I am using new products that will be available August 3rd from the Fall Sale-a-bration catalog.

The adorable Counting Sheep stamp set and the coordinating, Sheep Dies are the Sale-a-bration items. Either one can be yours with a $50 (USD, before tax and shipping) order through me! Personally, I’d place an order totalling $100 to get both! The Sheep Dies are while supplies last.

Here is the cutting template for the Pull Out part –

I recommend making a template before cutting into your good card stock. I started with a piece of card stock that was 4″ x 9 3/4″.

As you can see from the above template, place card stock at the 1 1/2″ mark on your trimmer, cut from 3″ down to 7 1/2″. Rotate card stock.

Then make three score lines –

from 3″ down to cut in card stock
all the way down at 5 1/4″
at the 7 1/2″, end of the last cut, score down

Looking at the sample, play around with the fold and score lines. This gets placed onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of cardstock.

Here is side view of the card –

I stamped all 3 sheep using the Stamparatus. I used Stampin’ Blends to color them before cutting them out. They stamped perfectly the first time I tried!

I added the fence and multiple clumps of ‘grass’ on the card. The sun and the sentiment are also from the sets.

This card will definitely put a smile on someone’s face! Wouldn’t you agree?

Hello Stampin’ friends!

Thanks for joining me again today!

It’s time for another hop with Stamping With Friends. Our theme is the upcoming, new catalogs!

I decided to feature some items from Sale-a-bration, because everyone loves free stuff!

This is my lovely, bright card I created –

I used the new Sale-a-bration Shaded Summer Dies as the focal point. They coordinate with the Shaded Summer Stamp set in the annual catalog.

For contrast, I used Mango Medley and Daffodil Delight as the colors for the flowers. The leaves were cut in Granny Apple Green.

This wonderful paper is also a Sale-a-bration item, Beautifully Penned. It is sort of a light black in color. Very pretty!

Hello Stampin’ friends!

Time for another blog hop today! (I’m in 3 if your interested in seeing more of my creativity!)

How about Christmas in July? That is our theme for today!

I went with one of my favorite things in card making, One Sheet Wonders, OSW, for a 6″ x 6″ sheet of paper!

Here is the adorable group of cards –

I used products from the new Mini Catalog, and the Sale-a-bration catalog. Both start in August!

Here are these cute cards up close –

The penguin was punched using the new Penguin Builder Punch.

Yes, his buddy, the polar bear, was fussy cut.

This adorable Designer Series Paper is from Sale-a-bration, Penguin Playmates! It WILL be a must have!

All the cards were created using my 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder pattern –

The 3″ x 3″ square was cut in half creating two pieces, 1 1/2″ x 3″ to create one of the cards.

In addition, I used these pieces to create each of the cards –

(4) DSP pieces, 4″ x 5 1/4″
(4) Fresh Freesia, 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″
(4) Soft Sea Foam, 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
(4) Basic White, 1″ x 3″
