How about a new challenge from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to start your week off creativity!?!?

Sending Thanks this week to all my fabulous friends who came out for the Fun Fold Class this past weekend –

Stunning, right?

I used the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle for this pretty –

I die cut three of the flower arrangements and glued them all together to make a thicker piece. I then glued those on the outline of the dies for my focal point.

The stamp set is also from the coordinating stamp set. This lovely scalloped Double Oval Punch made a pretty decorative border to emphasize the Thanks sentiment.

I think these patterns from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper just made this card! You can earn this huge pack of paper, 48 sheets, free when you host a qualifying party!

Happy Friday!

Time for another great Fun Fold!

This week I am using a fabulous black and white print from Sale-a-bration, the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper –

This can be yours FREE with a $50 (USD) order!

Look at this nifty card I made –

It uses only half a sheet of Designer Series Paper! I know you’ve got lots of pattern paper you’ve been hoarding!!! Lol!

The Designer Series Paper is 5 1/4″ x 11 3/4″, scored at 1 3/4″, 4 3/4″, and 7 3/4″. Accordion folded. Adhere to a base of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.

It has two pieces that slide in each side!

The Polished Pink, left, is 3 1/8″ x 4 1/4″. This side would be perfect to add a gift card! You could adhere with a glue dot!

The Basic White, right, is 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I added a strip of color along the back edge to tie in the color.

Really sweet, huh? I did fussy cut the flower from one of the patterns in the paper. It made a nice a focal point.

The sentiment stamps super neat and clean. It is from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set.

I think I’ll feature this Fun Fold on my next Card Buffet!

Hello again! Time for the second hop for me today!

This go around it is with –

Out theme for today is anything we are working on!

Well, I am working on Thank You cards for my June orders! And, I decided to get a little fun with these –

Here is the grouping of cards I started with. I wanted to show off some of the Designer Series Paper that is currently on sale. I used the Hand-Pended for all the cards, the same pattern actually.

I also used the Flowers & Leaves Punch –

Along with the Hand-Penned Bundle –

All cards used a 3″ x 3 1/2″ top panel Designer Series Paper, 3″ x 2″ bottom piece, sentiment strip of 3/4″ 4 1/2″, and some sort of element, here a flower.

This was a great card to show off three different levels of card making, Beginner, Casual, and Avid.

This would be a BEGINNER style card. It’s a simple card, being very easy to recreate for a new person crafting.

This would be a CASUAL style card. A little more attention to detail with the addition of the flower shape and added pearl in the center. Sentiment is also popped up on Dimensionals.

This would be more of an AVID card design. Same elements as the previous card, but I added the scalloped detail under the sentiment strip. To create it, I used the Penned Flowers Dies (which are part of the Hand-Penned Bundle) and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I went with the last card for my 16+ Thank You’s I needed to make. They were my favorite. Which is yours?

We have a new two week challenge today –

How about a great card to show off some lovely pattern paper –

This is soo pretty, wouldn’t you agree? This paper is the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper! It is soo lovely!

This great sentiment is from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, which also has a nice set of coordinating dies. I used the dies to create the dotted scalloped strip along the top. One of my favorites in the set!

The Double Oval Punch came in handy to create the striking sentiment.

These all come together to create a wonderful card of encouragement!

I love these simple sketches! Perfect for showing off Designer Series Paper (especially when it’s on sale!!!) –

This is the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper –

Perfect for creating a soft mood, like ‘feel better’.

For this card, my pattern strips are 1″ x 4 1/2″, placed on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ card stock panel. Simple!

This nice sentiment comes from the Hand-Penned Petals. All the stamps are light and fresh –

I think this layout works well with any Designer Series Paper too!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

I was playing with the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes –

Well, I was playing with them in a different way. I really love the patterns on both the cards and the envelopes. So, I took them apart using them on a card –

Here, I used just the envelope. As you can see, I used the panel and the flap portion.

I added the Mint Macaron Scalloped piece from the Scalloped Contours Dies –

These dies are just the best!

The sentiment and flowers on the inside are from the Hand-Penned Petals –

This is what I’d call, creating outside the box!

Happy Monday!

We have a new challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge –

Nice challenge to play with a mix of old and new stuff!

Let’s go with old first as today is THE last day to purchase lots of goodies from Stampin’ Up!!!!

This Playful Pets** Designer Series Paper retired and sold out already. I just had to play it with one more time! And the Classic Label* is going away. This is such a much have punch!

So. What’s new on this card?

Well, for starters, the flagged ends came from the new Basic Borders Dies^. There are 6 different styles of borders in the set. I can’t wait to use them all.

The sentiment is new. It is from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set.

This card is purrrfect for a new pet parent! Wouldn’t you agree???
