Sweet Christmas Wishes

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Winter Wonder

Ok, how about using some more of this Let it Snow Designer Series Paper. I love this paper, but I really love it more when I have used it all up! Lol!

It is a pretty sweet card, isn’t it?

I used most of the snowmen from that sheet to create other projects. But portions of snowmen, I used various punches to punch them to still be able to use them!

Here, I used the Everyday Label punch. The stamped sentiment is from the Cup of Christmas set. It was just right sentiment for the card. It fits just right under the punched shape!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features a Christmas Treat or Favor.

I have an adorable sliding treat –

When you slid the ribbon up, it contains one of those brownies / cake mix you put in a mug and microwave!

And, you can see the added wooden spoon! Isn’t this just too cute??

Easy too! Directions –

Real Red card stock, 4 1/4 x 9 1/2 (make 2 at one, 8 1/2 x 9 1/2)
scored it at 4 1/2 and 9
used Tear & Tape on the 1/2 narrow strip
fold over twice on score lines
fold over 1/2 strip and adhere to middle section creating a sleeve
decorate front of treat holder as you like
punch hole in center near the top opening with a 1/4 diameter circle punch to run ribbon through
cut about 1 1/2 foot of ribbon
place ribbon through both holes evenly
open treat holder slightly, insert cake / brownie mix on top of ribbon, push down and tie bow
insert spoon
done!

Aren’t these just the cutest? I whipped up several in no time!

This Cup of Christmas bundle is the PERFECT set for this treat holder. It is like it was made for it or something!

(Please note : I found the brownie / cake mix at my local grocery store. Spoons came from here.)

Joy of Sets – Same Stamp Set 3 Ways

Welcome to our blog hop for Joy of Sets!

Our theme this time around is one stamp set, created 3 different ways!

Oh. . . . Did I have fun with this!

My main stamp set / bundle that I started with was the Cup of Christmas bundle. I think this is extremely versatile for any occasion.

And, I added lots of other products too!

I designed a card for fall, Halloween and Christmas –

cute. Cute. CUTE!!!!!! Right??

Each card started with a colored card base, a coordinating color and a piece of woodgrain Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.

Each card also used the To Every Season bundle, stamp set and four coordinating punches. The sentiments were all die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Each card then had some nifty touches.

The stripes on the cup on the fall card are from Tiny Keepsakes stamp set. The cute little twine bow is from the Come to Gather Ribbon Combo Pack.

Here, the plaid pattern on the cup is also from the Tiny Keepsakes stamp set. The smile is stamped from the Harvest Hellos. The small strip of Designer Series Paper is from Monster Bash. The twine is retired Stampin’ Up! from a few years ago.

So, so, so cute! I love snowman! His face was created from pieces in the Let It Snow Embellishment kit. His scarf is Real Red 1/8″ Curly Ribbon. The strip of Designer Series Paper here is Let it Snow.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

I love both the inspirations!!!

I decided to go with something quirky and for Halloween –

Love it, right?

I used this sweet Monster Bash Designer Series Paper! Look closely at it. This new In Color, Rococo Rose, is in it! Perfect way to tie in that lovely color in the form of a cup of yumminess, whatever that may be!

I use a little piece and the reverse side of the pattern paper for the flag at the top. Those details. Those details!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Oh, perfect sketch to revamp this age old classic style card / treat holder –

The old pocket card for soup or hot chocolate!

I added soup to mine. (Lol, Dutch soup at that!)I thought it went well for the sentiment –

My pocket base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.

On one panel, I made a mark 2 1/2″ from the bottom. I made a diagonal cut from the center score line to that mark creating the diagonal. Seal the pocket with Tear & Tape along that short side (along the bottom too if you’d like, although I did not).

Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, some die cuts and a sentiment and call it a treat holder!

Super quick and easy!

Catalog & A Cup of Cheer

Oh. Oh. Oh. I am rather excited today!!!

The new Holiday Mini Catalog is now viewable for ALL to see!!!

So, grab a cup of your favorite –

And, enjoy the new catalog! And, this lovely card created with new products!

I started with a notecard base, adding a strip of Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper. This is a gorgeous little pack of paper!!!!

I die cut two cups, yes, there is a left and a right, and placed them on top.

The sentiment is from the stamp, Cup of Christmas, stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I colored in the holly sprigs with a Shaded Spruce Blends marker.

The final touch was the Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

Makes an adorable card!
