I made this adorable card using the Sale-a-Bration set, Honeycomb Happiness.

I had a several of these chicks cut out and decided to use them in random cards. This one, I turned into a bunny by adding some ears! These were actually two different butterfly punches!

The flowers were made by punching tiny flowers around the Wildflower Fields DSP, another great Sale-a-Bration choice! You can never go wrong with DSP, and FREE DSP at that!

12 Treats for Halloween, Treat 11

Aren’t these little boxes just the most adorable?

They will hold wrapped nuggets or a candy bar (which that is what I filled mine with).

Finished box is 3  x  1 1/2  x  3/4. Here is a pattern I created to share –

Healing Happiness

From the time I received my Sale-a-Bration vellum until now, I hadn’t taken the opportunity to share any of my creations using it.

And, although you can’t order it anymore, if you have it, I’m sure you’d like to know what you can do with it.

Here is an idea –

Nice. Simple. Clean. And, easy.

Since I used this in a class, I had to make my one package go far. I used the note card and envelopes along with a small square of the vellum in the center.

To get the neat-o colored 3-d effect, I colored one side with a Stampin’ Write Marker. Let it dry really well. Then, I flipped it over onto my Pierce Mat and with the Embossing Stylus, I ‘colored’ the flowers. It not only raised them adding dimension, it also added a little whitish color in some areas.

To adhere it without the adhesive showing, I used Glue Dots in the corners – I bet you can’t even tell!

The finished colors reminded me of ‘healing’, so I went with that sentiment. Any really would have worked.

I made these in a flash in a couple different oranges, then just embossed them. The leaves are from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. Love them!!

Honey Celebrate

“Hello Honey”! That sounds so funny. But, honey, Hello Honey, is the name of this new In-Color from Stampin’ Up. Isn’t it a nice, fall, vibrant yellow?

Fun card, right?

I paired up Hello Honey with very Vanilla and Basic Black to really show it off. And, I wanted to use this cool Hexagon Hive framelit.

This was one of the cards from my recent July Card Buffet. It was very popular as well. I had to cut extras.

My order of current DSP’s had not arrived yet, so I used the Modern Medley DSP that recently retired. Worked very nice with this card. It turned nice. I look forward to mailing it out to someone special.

Happy Friday everyone. Just a quick share today as I am getting ready for my Card Buffet.

As I prep for my class, there are always cards that I decide not to use. I look at card challenges for inspiration in design and color. Although there are so many samples on the internet to just ‘copy’, I choose to design almost every card for my classes.
