Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features images on cards that you can color! Stampin’ Up has a lot!
For me, the Blessings of Home stamp set is perfect for this type of card –
Am I right?!?! So pretty!!
I stamped the flower image in Night of Navy first.
I then colored it with a couple of Stampin’ Blends, Petal Pink and Mint Macaron and outlined in the Lightest Mint Macaron Blends after being die cut.
It is simple, elegant, and just soo pretty! And this bow – perfect!
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great ideas for us!

Hi Libby – really lovely, but how do you keep the ink from smudging if you stamp in Night of Navy and then use the alchohol ink from Stampin Blends?
Libby Fens says
Thanks for stopping by Lisa. Great question! I just let the ink dry completely before carefully coloring almost to the edge of the image. Alcohol will bleed a bit anyway moving to the edge.

Thanks Libby – I’ll try this. I even have trouble with memento bleeding if I don’t let it dry for a long time. I don’t use Stampin Up paper and I also think that might be the problem. When I started with Stampin Up I had a huge stash of white paper and I hate not using it up. Appreciate it – (I’m a fellow demoer).
