Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features Christmas on Halloween!

I have been making lots of Christmas cards lately. Last week, I hosted a Zoom to make cards from the Tag Buffet Kit. Here is the kit –

And here are the six adorable cards we made from the kit –

Real Red base with embossed Shaded Spruce strip.

Soft Sea Foam base with embossed Pool Party strip.

Garden Green base with embossed Soft Sea Foam strip.

Flirty Flamingo base with embossed Real Red strip.

Shaded Spruce base with embossed Flirty Flamingo strip.

Pool Party base with embossed Garden Green strip.

See my theme of colors? I chose six colors and interchanged them! Adding a thin strip of Gold Foil to each, as well as the center strips were embossed with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder pair.

I used the coordinating Tag Buffet Stamp set as well. It is an awesome set as it includes the inside greeting as well!

You can do soo much with this kit past the super sweet tags! I highly recommend it!

A Cup of Thanks

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

These are my kind of colors! And this is my kind of theme –

Coffee! Yes, again with this Press On stamp set!

I stamped the line of coffee cups using the Stamparatus. I actually did not know what I was going to create, so this is a repeated line of cups under the focal panels.

I ended up using a similar layout I used earlier in the week. I stamped the to-go cups three times on three different colors of card stock and fussy cut the parts. Luckily, this is an easy one to cut out, several times.

The ‘sleeves’ on the to-go cups I embossed with the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder. Soo cute! Added just the right amount of texture this cups needed!

The sentiment was the finishing touch for this card! I hope you enjoy it!

Hello! Glad to see you today!

How about a hop this afternoon?

Our theme today is a card with minimal or no stamping.

I think I got this –

Why yes, another fall card!

I created this sweet punched and embossed pumpkin as my starting point. The Apple Builder Punch pairs nicely with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder.

I decided the pumpkin would look great next to a wreath, so I made one using the Wreath Builder Dies. I used Garden Green, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive for the colors of the wreath.

The pumpkin needed a bow. So this Merry Merlot one also came from the Wreath Builder Dies.

Lastly, the sentiment is simple using the Playful Alphabet Dies to say, HI.

Hello! Happy Sunday! Time for a blog hop!

Our theme this month, anniversary.

I wanted to use new products for this, so I went with the Banner Year stamp set and Warm Hugs Bundle –

A quirky take on an anniversary card! Lol!

I stamped the cups in Misty Moonlight and Seaside Spray on Whisper White. I colored them using Blends. I used the Warm Hugs bundle for this.

The sentiment and XOXO come from the Banner Year stamp set.

I also used the Heart Punch pack to complete the card and create a focal point for the cute little cups!

Soo cute!

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – Back to School Bash

Happy Friday! Welcome to our monthly blog hop!

Note the different header? Pretty nice I’d say!!

Our theme this month is Back to School, scheduled long ago. Not sure how things are where you are from, but here, going back to classes in a classroom is pretty daunting with the Covid-19 cases still on the rise. Most school districts here are doing virtual classes for the time being.

So, what to create for a Back to School theme??

I decided to pull out the Harvest Hellos stamp set and the coordinating Apple Builder Punch for this –

I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set and used the Classic Label to punch each word out, it is a stacked sentiment.

I thought the colors looked nice against the Balmy Blue card stock. For texture, I used one of the new Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders.

I think it turned out perfect. Great for a student or a teacher going back to school!
