Yes. I jumped on the gnome craze!

The pattern papers are from the Wrapped in Plaid 6×6 Designer Series Paper.

I took a Gold Foil-Edge card and cut it in two. I layered that a Whisper White card base with the fold at the top. Then I layered on the pattern paper.

To created this little cutie I used two solid trees from the In The Woods Dies. One is cut in Whisper White, (the beard, upside down), the other in Cherry Cobbler (hat).

His body is an oval from the largest oval in the Layering Ovals Dies, with a bit trimmed off the bottom.

His nose was a hard one to come up with…….but, the Bouquet Bunch Dies had just the right shape! I think it is part of a tulip! 

He came together soo well! I just love him!!

The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set, Winter Woods. You might have that bundle from last Christmas. The Timeless Label Punch was the right size for the sentiment as well!

I’d love to read your comments on this little fella! Sometimes you just have to get creative when you are given a theme!

Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to create something today but, I wasn’t sure just what!

I found a little inspiration from a challenges, Freshly Made Sketches. They have a nice design this week –

 

I like it because it’s a square card!

I pulled out my October 2019 Paper Pumpkin, Winter Woods and created this simply stunning card –

Right?

The cards in this kit are gorgeous. But the products alone can be used to create some beautiful alternatives as well!

I cut the birch tree apart and the fir tree out. Reused part of the base and stamped some snow falling.

The sentiment is from the kit, stamped on the shimmery birch tree paper.

Isn’t this simply stunning???

I used the elegant, Winter Woods Bundle!

All the leaves are from the In the Woods Framelits – yes, these leaves are one of the framelits!!! I overlooked them myself. I cut several out and placed them in a random pattern. Pretty simple!

The sentiment was stamped, then cut using another set of framelits, Farmhouse. We can seem to never have enough framelits!!!

What an elegant Christmas card. And, easy to recreate! These leaves are really gorgeous!

Spooky Halloween Card – Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Our theme this week features a Spooky Halloween Card!

Halloween is such a fun holiday to create for! An even better holiday to send out cards – it’s unexpected!

I created a card using the Winter Woods stamp set agin!

Doesn’t it make a striking, spooky background??

As I stamped the lined background, I alternated the stamp back and forth to create the pattern. After I stamped the panel, I colored the trees with a Basic Grey marker.

The Happy sentiment is die cut from the Merry Christmas Thinlits.

The HALLOWEEN is masked and stamped from Spooky Sweets stamp set. I punched it with the Classic Label punch.

I added the bats last from the Spooky Bats Punch. The Mini Dimensionals work perfectly to pop them up!

Wouldn’t you agree that this is spooky?
