I used the stamp set Happiest of Birthdays to create this –

With the help of the Stamparatus of course!

This lovely Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper adds a nice touch for a March birthday!

I added the balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Punch for that festive touch, lol!

When I read the theme for this, I knew exactly what I wanted to use!

The new Hey Birthday Chick Bundle –

More specifically, this little emerging chick!

So adorable!!! I colored the little cuties with Blends markers and die cut them with the Birthday Chick Dies. I love how the coordinating HAPPY BIRTHDAY is in the same dies as well!

This card was quick and easy too! Yay! Looking forward to sending this one out!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest challenge –

Optional Theme : Slimline Card

These are a favorite of mine too!

Since I was on a shaker kick yesterday, how about a slim one today?

So fun wouldn’t you say!?!?

My finished card is 7″ x 6″, scored at 3 1/2″. It is a ‘mini slim’ size. It will fit into a personal check sized envelope.

I cut my Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper 3″ x 5 1/2″ and slipped it into a Medium Clear Envelope. Before sealing it up, I added some of the fun Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles for the shaker bits.

On the outside, I added three fussy cut ice cream cones from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.

I am just having soo much fun with these cards!

Happy Tuesday Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

We have another great 2 week challenge to get creativity going –

Optional Theme : Kazoos or musical instruments

Ok, well, I had to sit the instrument part out. I didn’t have any. I created this instead –

I did follow the sketch! I love it! I’ve been trying to make more cards with sentiments like this. That way, they can be mailed out anytime to anyone!

I cut a nice flower piece from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper, backing it in Poppy Parade for the extra ‘pop’, literally!

The sentiment is from the coordinating bundle, Art Gallery, both the partially stamped image, and the die cut!

This is bright, cheery, and just plain fun!

Happy Tuesday Try Stampin’ on Tuesday

When I saw the word ‘Die Cuts’ I knew I just had to play around with this new Lots of Hearts Bundle!

This is how I combined Die Cuts and this bundle –

So, so pretty! Wouldn’t you agree?

I die cut the larger heart initially and decided it needed a little something, so I added the detailed die cut flowers in the same color. I used adhesive sheets and I am still finding those pieces everywhere! I love the look though! It is subtle.

I also really like the addition of the continuous hearts towards the bottom. It adds the right amount of *pop* to the card.

The sentiment is also from the coordinating stamp set. I figured this was a nice greeting since I am not sure who this is going out to.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Get Well

This time of the year as winter approaches, we usually need cards like this. Not that we are still in the midst of a pandemic, we need these types of cards more and more!

I used a Christmas-themed pattern paper –

And, I just love how it turned out! What about you?

I used the Trimming The Town Designer Series paper for this. Once again, I used the green stripe horizontally, it is a diagonal pattern, but I like it this way.

For the scallops in the sketch, I used a pattern that had squigglies. Since those were directional, I cut the strip in half and flipped it so it looks more symmetrical.

The stamped sentiment is from So Sentimental, punched with the Tailored Tag Punch.

The Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper will be retiring. You can purchase that and other great buys here.

Optional Theme : Something Sparkly

This sketch is soo fun!

I played with new stuff for my take on the sketch –

I used the So Much Happy Bundle, So Much Happy stamp set and Happy Dies. I added the new Dandy Wishes Dies which are the neat circle bursts.

I used the Rainbow Glimmer Paper to cut these all out. I liked the gradient colors! That is my ‘sparkly’.

I added the stamped birthday from the So Much Happy stamp set.

Such a simple, fun card, great for anyone!

I like these duo challenges!

I went with an older favorite Designer Series Paper that returned from last year, Toile Tidings –

I combined it with the Wrapped In Christmas stamp set.

Wrapped In Christmas is all words and probably has the perfect ones you are looking for! I am hoping this is the last Christmas stamp set I buy this year!

Christmas Wreath

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Wreath or Foilage

Great idea as I am designing cards for my annual Christmas card class.

Simply sweet as I’d like to say.

I due cut the same wreath design from the Wreath Builder Dies in two colors and adhered them askew.

I placed them on a strip of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. I made the bottom a banner by cutting up the center about 1/4″ and making a diagonal cut from each end to the top of the cut in the center. Easy, easy, when you want a quick flag look.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment nice and sharp.

Lastly, I added a bow made from Real Red 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim. It added texture and dimension for the card. I love it!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Autumn

What a fun sketch! Perhaps because fall is soo fun!

I went with my favorite sized card, a mini slim card, using the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper –

Isn’t this sweet!?!? The size of this card is 3 1/2″ x 6″.

I added two strips of Designer Series Paper on my card. One, I added the stamped sentiment, and the other side I added four punched acorns.

The acorns are from the same Designer Series Paper punched using the Autumn Punch Pack.

Simple card, simple design, big impact!

Awesome sketch for the next two weeks, spooky or not!

I decided to use the September 2020 Hello Pumpkin kit for this lovely –

Right?

Great transformation from treat holders to a card! All I added was the Pumpkin Pie card base and die cut circle!

The decorative black pieces, striped flag piece, black cat, and the sentiment are included in the kit! That is a lot of detailed pieces!

Optional Theme : Coloring

Well……I didn’t get the coloring part this week –

But I did create a really cute card!

I used the Press on stamp set along with the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper to create gift card holder.

I stamped the coffee cup on the Real Red and Whisper White card stocks, along with the pattern paper. I hand cut them all and put them together.

Sure makes for an adorable card!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Metallics

I decided to create another Halloween card –

I started with this Magic in The Night Designer Series Paper. It looks spooky and creepy, but sort of pretty.

I stamped the sentiment from the Banner year stamp set and die cut it using the Stitched Squares Dies.

For the swirls, I die cut some Black Foil swirls from the Stitched Stars Dies.

Trimming them, I placed them around the sentiment.

Pretty quick and easy. Pretty nice for a Halloween card.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Oh my! Love this sketch! Perfect to keep my mind occupied today!

First, I figures out the size of my squares on my base using my template paper. Then, I went to work!

Look at this beauty –

It is a hodgepodge of a couple different stamps sets put together with a fall feel because I just love fall and the elements in the sketch!

Ironically, it just dawned on me that I used similar items to last weeks card! Guess I really do love these colors!!

I die cut the Love You More Than sentiment from the Love You More Than Die set. I also die cut the stamped coffee cups from the same set.

I stamped the pumpkin and leaves from the Harvest Hellos stamp set. The leaves were fussy cut and the pumpkin was punched using the Apple Builder punch.

All my fall loves were popped up on dimensionals!

This. Card. Makes. Me. Smile.
