Christmas Flowers

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features Christmas flowers.

I always think of poinsettias, as I’m sure you do as well.

I used the stamps from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar and the dies from day 1 creating these fun flowers.

But the I didn’t know what to do with them. I decided to create a poinsettia tree with them!

This totally worked with these flowers I created!

The sentiment made the base. And a little punched star finished the tree off!

Our theme this week is Christmas trees and branches.

Have you used this gorgeous All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper? It is soo pretty!

Look at this elegant Christmas tree card –

It is the star of the show here! Simple. Classy. Elegant. Especially paired with the Branching Out Dies in Very Vanilla framed in Gold Foil.

Foe extra bling, I added ornaments from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins in Old Olive. My favorite Christmas colors mix a light green with a dark green.

As a subtle detail, I embossed a piece to add to the front. This really takes a card up a notch.

‘Tis The Season

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I created what I saw immediately when I saw this sketch –

I had to find the correct size circle for the snowman head. One from the Spotlight on Nature Dies seemed to work just fine.

For the eyes and mouth, I used the the tiny circle from the Gingerbread Man Dies. The tricky part was the carrot nose. The inside of the large letter A from the Party Alphabet Dies worked like a charm.

The scarf was created from the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper.

After looking through my holiday sentiments, this ’tis the season’ fit in the space nicely.

This is such an adorable holiday card! Don’t you agree?
