Nothing like working on a day that’s supposed to be for workers! Got to love retail……
I keep getting sidetracked in creating cards for challenges today.
This Tic Tac Toe challenge from Paper Craft Crew Challenges caught my attention –
This type of challenge is really fun!
I liked the water, any blue and sun for my starting point –

Visually simple. But a little more intense in creating.

The word ‘sunshine’ – I wasn’t sure how I’d use it so I cut three out. In the end, I ended up stacking them and gluing them together to make a nice thick embellishment word.

I love how this is a no-stamp card too! Since we have some wonderful sentiment framelits – you don’t always have to stamp anything! I did add a few of those White Perfect Accents to enhance the water theme.
So, what you think? Nice work of the Tic Tac Toe challenge? I think so, but I’d love to read your comments too!

I also used foil, silver this time to create the flower. I cut two out and over lapped them. I adhered then to Melon Mambo card stock and cut them out. It makes for a stunning flower using the same Layering Circles Framelits for the center. It’s simple. Bold. Elegant. Fun.
So. Two gorgeous, clean and simple cards for the ‘summer’!!!
