Time for another Create with Connie and Mary challenge day!
Since the start of summer was just the other day, we have a refreshing color challenge this week –
Although, my use of the sketch was not so summer. It’s ok.
I decided to go with a card that uses no stamping but still gets a message across –
Nice, huh?
It’s all done with a set of thinlits and a set of framelits! And new ones at that!!
These squares are all in one set! It’s quite nice. And, these little butterflies or flowers? Not sure, but I liked them and it just added that special touch of dimension the card needed!
This thinlits set, Sunshine Wishes, is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The butterfly/flower is also from that set too!
This just goes to show, that you can create a wonderful card using just cutouts!
You should see what the other designers have created using these lovely colors at Create with Connie and Mary and play along with us!
I’d love to read what you think about my card too!
Supplies used –
- Dies – Layering Squares Framelits (N), Sunshine Wishes Thinlits (N)
- Card Stock – Very Vanilla, Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride, Pool Party

I did buy this bundle – and your sweet card is a good example of why! A lovely ‘no stamping’ card Libby and I love how you played around with three butterflies and alternated the three colours to create your card. So fresh and pretty!
Libby says
Thanks, Joanne! It just worked out beautifully!

Sometimes it is okay to give the stamps a break and focus on card stock, colors and shapes. Your focus on all three of those things worked so cohesively! Wonderful card this week!

I love how you have used and alternated the colors in this repeated design! Clean and simple, and fun!
