Our theme this week features our favorite new In Color!

I must say my favorite new in color would have to be Sweet Sorbet!

This adorable Sweet Cherries Bundle is perfect to show off this color too! The punch creates the cherry, stem, and 2 leaves.

I stamped the weave-look border in another new In Color, Tahitian Tide. The stems are punched from Parakeet Party, also a new In Color.

This is such an adorable card. I’m going to love creating with this lovely shade of red!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

We have so many nice choices on all these colors! I went with So Saffron and thee new Starry Sky –

And, of course, the new Cup of Tea Bundle! It is soo lovely!

I die cut two cups and two flower / leaf pieces. To create the one going opposite, I flipped them and ran through the Mini Stampin’ Cut Emboss a second time too flatten the edges. Then, I adhered them together!

The sentiment was a full line, I just stamped part of it above each tea cup.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this pretty card! I can’t wait to mail it out!

I went with plants! Cactus Cuties to be more precise –

And, it’s a nifty fun fold!

I have lots of Designer Series Paper to use up before it retires. I love the mix of these two patterns here. Yes, I combined a Christmas paper, Tidings of Christmas with In The Wild.

Simply sweet!

This Cactus Cuties bundle will be around until June 30th.

I originally created this card for my April Card Buffet. I wanted to show what it looked like if, 1) I stamped off the clay pots, and 2) what it looked like if I hand cut the pots and plants after stamping. I gave the card away, but managed to get one picture of it. I really like both versions!

Of course my favorite is probably paper –

I just love a great pack of paper! Here, I used the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper. Once again, Stampin’ Up is offering this as a free Hostess reward! It is a generous 24 sheet pack too!

It pairs pretty well with the Brewed For You bundle, Brewed For You stamp set and the Brewed Dies.

I think this pattern could have been masculine or feminine. With the hops on the growler, it looks masculine!

I am in love with this particular bundle as well! It is just the coolest! I love the detailed bubbles in the glass!

I designed this card for a swap and I think it will be a total hit!

I needed a cute baby card and these colors work perfectly –

Right? This cute little sleeper is die cut from the Baby Clothes Dies retiring at the end of the month. Both that and the already sold out You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper will surely be missed.

This card is pretty nifty – it is a gift card holder when opened!

This nifty pocket is from the retiring Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I just cut it in half! It is the same size as the one on the front of the card too! You can see all those items and more here –

I will be featuring this card on my April Card Buffet this weekend! I think it will be well received!

I used the retiring Cat Punch along with the All Together Designer Series Paper. I picked the two patterns that contained hearts.

Stamping With Friends Blog Hop – Retiring Annual Catalog Products

Hello stampers!

I am in a mix of old and new product today!

Our theme this time around is retiring products.

Soo many great products to talk about. I went with this monochromatic beauty –

Retiring items : Flower Market Die (sale price, $17.40), the 2020-2022 In Color Velum (sale price, $9.60), and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (so surprised these are leaving).

I hadn’t really played much with this large die. Turns out, it is beautiful!

Our theme this week features new pre-order items from the upcoming catalog! As demonstrators, hobby or business, you can pre-order items a month in advance to get to know the new items.

I got my stuff in and hadn’t had a chance to play with any of it until I realized I needed something for today.

Well, here you go –

Just adorable, right? This is the new Sweet Songbird bundle, Sweet Songbirds stamp set and coordinating whimsical, Songbird Builder punch.

This wonderful pattern paper is also new. Remember the huge Pattern Party Hostess pack of paper, well, they did it again with this pack! This is the Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper. I see myself, once again, gravitating to it!

The last new product I am ecstatic about is the new Stylish Shapes Dies coming out! It has a stitched look to all the circles, squares and labels inn the set! That will also be a go-to for me!

I went with something fun – strawberries!

I combined two Designer Series Papers here, You’re A Peach for the rectangles and Sweet Talk for the strawberries.

I stamped the strawberries, sentiment, and the stem, with the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. I used the Strawberry Builder Punch for the berry and leaf. Both are retiring as well as a lot of other items. See thme here –

I will be sad to see all these items leave! However, great new products are just around the corner.

This is literally a ‘sweet’ card! Wouldn’t you agreen?

This sketch took me a while to figure out the direction I wanted to go in. I am very pleased with this –

Yes, the Pierced Blooms to the rescue! I tell you, I am going to be so sad to see these retire. Get them while you can, they are on sale!

Ok, back to the card, lol. I used the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper for my flower squares. The bright, yellow, Daffodil Delight flowers was a nice contrast against them.

The simplicity of this card needed a clean, simple sentiment. One from Art gallery was the winner!

Easter Blog Hop

Happy Monday!

It is Easter week. Do you send out Easter cards? If so, today should inspire you with all the ideas we have to share!

I used an unlikely flower for Easter, a Hydrangea!

libbystamps, Stampin' Up, Celebrating You, Hydrangea Dies, Heart & Home DSP, 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum, Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding, Crafty Collaborations, Easter

Soo pretty! Especially with this retiring In Color Shimmer Vellum for the flower! I initially die cut the flower top in Fresh Freesia, then thee top one in the vellum for a pop of texture!

The stems were cut, adding the detailed centers. By adding the centers, it just took the card to the next level.

The gorgeous flowers and sentiment strip were placed on a simple wood grain pattern from the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment is from Celebrating You. A great versatile greeting set that will be in the big catalog come May!

The beautiful shimmer vellum on the flower is retiring. You can see that and other items retiring here –

Our theme this week features retiring products that we will the most.

I have three right off the top of my head combined in one sweet card –

One. Pierced Bloom Dies (they are marked down too!) I love these dies because all the flowers do not need a stamp to look great! They stand alone. There is a pretty bow in the dies. There is a good size banner for a sentiment in there as well.

Two. Stitched So Sweetly Dies (this one surprised me….) Great versatile set of scalloped shaped dies perfect for anything, even included sentiment shaped!

Three. Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (also marked down really cheap!) A great go-to background for just about any card.

These items sure make for a very lovely card!

Sentiment is from the In Bloom stamp set. This stamp coordinated with the dies and once was part of a bundle of the two.

I used this floral Heart & Home Designer Series Paper and made a masculine-look card!

Look closely at the Cinnamon Cider back piece – it is embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Adds some nice detailing and dimension!

The Cinnamon Cider card stock will be retiring along with lots of great products. Check them out here –

The pattern paper will retire in June. This stamp set, Whiskey Business, will still be in the upcoming catalog! Whew!

I colored the decanter and glass using Blends and the Color Lifter. Yes, these were fussy cut! This great sentiment can also be found in the same stamp set!
