This was an easy card for me –

I decided to use an unlikely paper, Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper. It’s shades of green, so it worked quite well here!

I paired it with the Lucky Clover stamp set as it is perfect for the theme of St. Patrick’s Day!

Simply a fun, playful card!

It is the last one, Dandy Designs that is probably a favorite of mine! I paired it with my favorite new stamp set too –

The Lucky Clover bundle is new and fresh! And, not all the words are for St. Patrick’s Day either.

The card really speaks for itself.

This is a great go-to layout for me. I let the pattern paper do all the work!

I debated about adding more clovers, this was just enough! The touch of the bow in gold from the elegant trim was just enough!

This Designer Series Paper is free with a $100 USD, which may see like a lot, however, this paper has 48 12″ x 12″ sheets. You get a huge pack of paper! Huge!

Hello my Stampin’ friends!

I am finally taking a bit of time to play with some new, and soon-to-retire, stamp stuff!

I am feeling lucky today –

As you can see, I am using the Gingham Cottage Designer Series paper again. This time, I also used the soon-to-retire Scary Silhouette Dies.

The new products I paired these items is the new Lucky Clover Bundle, which contains is a stamp set and coordinating punch. I am really glad to see this. We have needed this ‘lucky’ for a long while!

I used the Stamparatus to get a great solid stamped image on these clovers. Since it was out, I also used it on the sentiment as well! Do you have a Stampartatus? I use it more and more these days!

You’re Good as Gold

So sorry about no Tuesday Tip yesterday – daughter is on Spring Break – and I just did not post……you understand, right?

On to todays little gems. I say ‘gems’ because there is so many of these little guys. Take a look at my latest treats for my co-workers –

Aren’t they just adorable? I made little boxed treats for St. Patrick’s Day. Inside are 3 gold wrapped chocolate coins. I am so imposed with the way these turned out. Easy, quick and a great little surprise!

And, well, what do you think?

As I was preparing these, I had a few extra stamped circle images. I took those and started a banner of sorts. Look closer here –

I think I might back these onto a Perfect Pennants Bigz Triangle or something. I just thought it went so well with the boxes.

In order to get the flap to stay closed, I popped up the circle with Diminsionals on the bottom half. The flap gets tucked in under it. The center shamrock is also popped up. The single stamp and 6×6 In-Color DSP are both retired Stampin’ Up items (of course!!).

Blossom Clover

Well now, just look at this sweet little number sure to please for St. Patrick’s Day. It is already in the mail as we post this, but…….got a few things I wanted to post this week. And, I just had to share this in time for you to make one yourself.

I was just playing around – creating my round of cards for my March Card Buffet and I accidentally came up with these little clovers –

See, I was punching with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and one punched shape was short a scallop. I removed it trying to create something else when it hit me – these look like a clover. With the little stem and all. So, there you have it. And, they really do look like little clovers, don’t you think?

Now, when I made this card, my base was the Note Cards. I love this ‘size’, it makes for cute, quick cards – and a nice envelope ready to go. I also popped up the 3rd ‘clover’ with a Dimensional. Doesn’t photograph well, but, in person it is really that added touch!

Card Buffet Fun

This weekend I ventured into a new direction in my stamp classes. With a fabulous Sale-A-Bration Catalog and lots of must see Occasions Mini Catalog products – how can you possible show all the neat items in just a 3 month time span? So, that got me to thinking……and, I decided to venture to hosting a Card Buffet! See –

I really liked how it came together. My goal was 10 projects, but, due to the holiday last week, my stamp order did not arrive in time – so – I ended up with 8 projects to choose from. Not bad. Everyone seemed to enjoy the selection.

I had all the supplies for each project in a numbered box.

And, everything was pre-cut, pre-scored, and bagged – ready to just ‘create’! I ran out of a few of the cards, but it was no trouble to whip up another supply bag.

So, all in all, this was a great success. I will definitely being doing this again. I like to see happy stampers!

I will post up close pictures of the projects as the days go on.
