Happy World Card Making Day! I hope you are spending the day creating. Perhaps our blog hop will give you lots of great ideas!

It’s our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week is CASing ME, wahoo!

And, you know what? I was stumped as to what card (within the past year) to case! I decided on this one –

I created a similar version –

Pretty close with these Handcrafted Elements Dies. These are a stand alone die as there is no stamp or specific paper that goes with them, just a gorgeous die!

I like the idea of an elegant Santa suit ornament. This would be nice in any of our reds, Poppy Parade specifically!

Everything else was the same. I almost went with a black sentiment. Wished I would have. It would have popped a bit more.

This just may be this years Santa card for my annual Christmas Card Class, going on my 10th year for this!!!! 

I can not wait to see what was CASed of mine! Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great ideas for us!

I have the perfect card!

Every year I create a santa suit card. And, this year is no different –

Isn’t this the cutest????

It is a fun mini slim card, sized 3 1/” x 6″!

I started with a sheet of 12″ x 12″ and was able to get three from one sheet!

I used the Stamparatus to get a nice, clean, crisp stamped image. Sentiment is from the Christmas Means More. And it is very appropriate for a Santa card!

The red Santa suit is the Red Velvet paper, the belt is a strip of sparkly Black Glitter paper.And, the nifty belt? I used the tiny tag from the Gift Bow Builder Punch!

So easy. So creative. So Santa!

Happy December 1st!

Here is the second of two blog hops for me!

I am happy to be a part of another blog group –

Our theme this month is anything goes Christmas.

I always like to create a whimsical Santa suit card every year as one of my cards at my Christmas Card Class.

Here is this years card. It is inspired by the Toile Tidings Gift Wrap in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini catalog –

Did you even know we had gift wrap in the catalog?Here are the two flat wrap patterns-TOILE TIDINGS GIFT WRAP

Great idea to make cards in bulk!

And this card was simple, simple, simple!

I used a strip of Basic Black for the belt and belt insert. The Silver Foil belt was punched from the Timeless Label punch. Perfect for a simple belt! It makes a statement on the card.

Our theme this week features our Favorite Embellishment.

I happen to love these Galvanized Buttons from the Holiday mini –

And, I happen to love creating a Santa style card for my annual Christmas Card Class. This is the one for this years 2018 class!

It features the Galvanized Buttons and Black Foil for Santa’s belt! His ‘suit’ is from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. Santa has a country theme this year!

A tip for you – color the Stampin’ Up! Dimensional with a black sharpie because it shows through the button holes. Finish it with the sentiment from the Feathers & Frost stamp set. It’s just perfectly done!

Simple Santa-Tizer

Last weekend I participated in a craft show at a local winery! We had lots of fun despite the weather being awfully rainy and cold!

One of the adorable gifts I made were these –

Little hand sanitizer called ‘Santa Tizers’!!!! Why? Well, because they looked like little santa suits!

I used the retired Oval Punch to hold them in place on the inside. Worked like a charm!

I did really well with these. They were just too cute! And a snap to make! Great for secret santa or little office gifts!

Stunning Silver Santa

I’ve got a wonderful card share for you today. It was designed for Create with Connie and Mary.

Here is our color challenge for the week –

I wanted to make a card that really showcased these colors. And, this is what I thought was fitting –

I decided to go with a 5 x 5 card, a little bigger than the Santa Thinlit. The dimensionals between each layer add some ‘pop’ to the card.

I used some silver and white twine from a previous Paper Pumpkin. It was just the last detail the card needed!

Santa Suit Nugget Purse

It is almost December! Making things already for co-workers, teachers, friends, or some ‘just because’ gifts?

And, did you get a chance to read my Tip for Tuesday yesterday? It so applied to this project – 

I had to color the vanilla Ribbon Slider to make my Santa’s Belt. I just used a silver Sharpie. Worked like a charm! You know these Ribbon Sliders are on Stampin’ Up’s Clearance Rack . They are in the Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware. What a great way to change these up!

I recommend making some of these. Santa would approve!
